Thank you for finding this. I was thinking about him a few days ago when I was looking at the plate/bowls he made and sent me just as the lockdown started. He was definitely an interesting man, as well as a wonderful pottery artist, who lived in a trailer and kept his loom in a second trailer.

We used to get into arguments online, so I called him to turn him into a human being in my mind instead of someone to argue with. And was glad I did. I’m truly sorry he’s gone.

I remember Quix well. I wonder what made him stop posting so abruptly back in June of 2012? He was a regular poster up to that point and there was no indication of health issues or dissatisfaction with FR in his last posts.

I hope his last 10 years were good ones.

I remember him from years ago. He posted multiple times a day, especially on the religion forum, and he knew his stuff. Unfortunately, he was no fan of my Catholic faith so we had a few interactions over that. Otherwise, he seemed like a good guy.
