Jane Fonda, 84, diagnosed with cancer, undergoing chemo treatments

Jane Fonda announced Friday that she has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy treatments.

“So, my dear friends, I have something personal I want to share. I’ve been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and have started chemo treatments,” the legendary actress, 84, wrote on Instagram.

“ This is a very treatable cancer. 80% of people survive, so I feel very lucky.”

She was 34 when she traveled to Hanoi around Christmas 1972 to make propaganda for the North Vietnamese That will be be 50 years ago this year. So 84 sounds correct.

My nephew kept happily saying that when my dad was suddenly diagnosed with lymphoma after going to the hospital in an ambulance.

They tried, but he died in a week.

Yep. My first memories of her were as a kid in the early 80’s and my mom had her workout vids (which makes no sense bcz my dad is a Vietnam vet). I always figured she was early 30’s then and that she was early 20’s when she was grinning through the sites of the AA gun.

The way Jane Fonda looks now, it will be best for her and rest of mankind if she kicks the bucket soon. Chemo treatment is very harsh on the body.
