Jane Fonda, 84, diagnosed with cancer, undergoing chemo treatments

Jane Fonda announced Friday that she has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy treatments.

“So, my dear friends, I have something personal I want to share. I’ve been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and have started chemo treatments,” the legendary actress, 84, wrote on Instagram.

“ This is a very treatable cancer. 80% of people survive, so I feel very lucky.”

I will say nothing about her directly. But undergoing chemo at the age of 84 is a trial. It’s a trial at any age but moreso the older you are.

My sixteen yr old granddaughter died from lymphoma. Time frame was six months. She begged her mother to let her die. A horrible, painful, disease, not to be taken lightly. Perhaps Fonda has access to an up dated treatment and will survive. She was an early, and young, supporter of communism. That tells me she was a product of parents who indoctrinated her while she was growing up. God will take care of her, like all of us, for her good and bad decisions. Parents are still warping their children in various terrible and destructive ways. They will not go blameless before a righteous God.

Jackie Kennedy had the same cancer, and she only lived 6 months after diagnosis. She was 64 when she died.
