Excellent discussion of the United State's China policy and what it may lead to. Literally eye opening.

"The question we are posing is how big a price will America pay for the egregious offence to the People's Republic of China by the visit of Nancy Pelosi the third most important person in the American state?"

These "blasts from the past" are totally bizarre.

I don't know what to make of them.

US Taiwan policy is conflicted, CONFLICTED.

On one hand the US agrees with the established and internationally accepted One China Policy, and on the other hands, will defend Taiwan if invaded. US stuck on stupid again.

Reality check for some (listen to what Roger Waters says about China-Taiwan-and the US).

The group was very diverse; but everyone agreed that China will not back down. The group felt that the United States was intent on provoking China (intend to sail ships through the Straight) and unless the U.S. reverses course on these escalating provocations (want to sell Taiwan $1 billion more weapons) China will invade Taiwan.

This was long (50 minutes) but really good and worth the time. I especially enjoyed Scott Ritter’s USA perspective.

Time has been on China’s side. There is another video of Gordon Chang on Fox News that gives added perspective.

I am pretty sure that China will make their move in days, not weeks or months. When they do, life as we know it in the US will change drastically.

Hang on to your hat, it’s a bumpy ride ahead.

There is one factor people fail to discuss. The upcoming revolution within China. It will be in a few years, and will destroy the CCP plans.

After listening to the comments about how China hates Britian for creating the Opium War, it’s easy to understand China’s Fentanyl War in the US.

History repeats itself.

Strategy!

Per Wiki

Among other international issues, Galloway has voiced his Anti-Zionism and supports the Palestinians in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, and was also involved in the Viva Palestina aid convoys to the Gaza Strip. He opposes India’s role in the Kashmir conflict with Pakistan, and has voiced support for the insurgency in Indian-administered Kashmir.[3][4] He supported Jeremy Corbyn in the 2015 Labour Party leadership election and during Corbyn’s leadership of the party. In the 2016 EU membership referendum, he advocated a “Leave” vote, campaigning with the cross-party, pro-Brexit organisation Grassroots Out, while before the 2019 European Parliament election he announced on Twitter, “for one-time only”, he would support Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party.

Galloway previously presented The Mother of All Talk Shows on Radio Sputnik and Sputnik on RT UK, until it was shut down in March 2022 following the Russian Invasion of Ukraine.

His last three wives were Muslims and married them in an Islamic ceremony. According to Jemima Khan, writing for the New Statesman in April 2012, Galloway converted to Islam around 2000; his shahadah was performed in Kilburn, London, in the presence of members of the Muslim Association of Great Britain.

“Hang on to your hat, it’s a bumpy ride ahead.”

Yes, that was the point in calling this video to people’s attention. Lots of explanation and history for China’s views on this conflict and why what we are doing is going to provoke the exact response we do not want. (Sort of Ukraine/Russia, revisited.)

What was particularly upsetting is how ignorant today’s U.S. leadership is. They view everything only from their own perspective which is why they are always getting everything wrong.

China had no interest in or intention to invade Taiwan at this time. Their published plan called for reunification by 2049.

Our escalating provocations could result in a disaster for Taiwan and potentially, if we decide to physically involve ourselves in it, an even bigger disaster for us. Are we planning another “proxy war” (who?) or will we have to go to war ourselves?

That stolen 2020 presidential election has turned out to be a disaster for the whole world.

China is painfully aware of what they call their “Century of humiliation” at the hands of the western powers, most emphatically including the US. No doubt it remains a powerful motivating factor in China’s hostility to the West.

There won't be an invasion. It's far to risky.

If the Chicoms take Taiwan in a manner that does not interrupt chip production, the USA will do nothing that matters. Or maybe even praise the "settlement".

Please note said betrayal has a precedent with Nixon no less.
