This was long (50 minutes) but really good and worth the time. I especially enjoyed Scott Ritter’s USA perspective.

Time has been on China’s side. There is another video of Gordon Chang on Fox News that gives added perspective.

I am pretty sure that China will make their move in days, not weeks or months. When they do, life as we know it in the US will change drastically.

Hang on to your hat, it’s a bumpy ride ahead.

Yes, that was the point in calling this video to people’s attention. Lots of explanation and history for China’s views on this conflict and why what we are doing is going to provoke the exact response we do not want. (Sort of Ukraine/Russia, revisited.)

What was particularly upsetting is how ignorant today’s U.S. leadership is. They view everything only from their own perspective which is why they are always getting everything wrong.

China had no interest in or intention to invade Taiwan at this time. Their published plan called for reunification by 2049.

Our escalating provocations could result in a disaster for Taiwan and potentially, if we decide to physically involve ourselves in it, an even bigger disaster for us. Are we planning another “proxy war” (who?) or will we have to go to war ourselves?

That stolen 2020 presidential election has turned out to be a disaster for the whole world.

There won't be an invasion. It's far to risky.
