Eeyore is dead and Piglet is a killer in the new trailer for Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey
Entertainment Weekly ^ | 8/31/22 | Clark Collis

So what exactly happened to Christopher Robbin to elicit such madness? "Pooh and Piglet experience a drastic drop in food as Christopher grew up and over the years became increasingly hungry and feral," Rhys Frake-Waterfield explained. "They had to resort to eating Eeyore and then Christopher returns with his wife to introduce her to his old friends, and when that happens they get enraged when they see him, and all of their hatred that they've built up over the years unleashes and they go on this rampage."

If the republicans have any stones at all when they recapture st least one house they’ll let the copyright on Steamboat Willie expire.

Didn't stop Itchy and Scratchy coming out with "Steamboat Itchy".

That was parody and it doesn’t violate copyright. I’m saying that anyone could slap the exact image of Willie on anything and sell it if the copyright expires

Where is Tigger?

BLM forced him to change his name.

Piglet better be careful. Donkey meat is an acquired taste, but everyone likes bacon.

But the Muslims will protest.

Sick weirdos destroying children's classic story.

Not surprising in today's world, unfortunately.

George Romero's "Night of the Living Dead" has been in public domain for what, 35 years?

That's why one can watch the whole movie on the internet or TV.

Any way saw it as a teen at a drive-in, and it scared the sh!t out of me.

Still does, but really Winne the Pooh?

>> Turning a classic children’s story ...

Disney preys on children. Disney is corrupt.

So, in the end, Eeyore was right to expect the worst?

All the ‘optimists’ that throw the term at us realists on FR should take note.

A remake of Bambi vs Godzilla, maybe?

Bambi goes kung-fu master, as Godzilla’s foot descends, and topples him to the ground. Lying stunned, Thumper jumps on Godzilla’s head, and does his namesake “dance”, as the blue jays & woodpeckers take out G’s eyes & Flower sprays his gaping maw...

A lot of Disney products are just “disnified” public domain. You can make a Snow White, Cinderella movie tomorrow. Jist can’t use Disney’s version.

Those copyright laws you mention were mostly changed by congress, specifically for Disney. Next congress should repeal all of them.

Funny...no one ever proposes to take those movies a wholesome way. Like Day at the Picnic or something.

You can’t blame Disney for this, they could not renew the copyright on the original Winnie the Pooh. They did not own it. It was owned by the Estate of A.A. Milne. The copy right was never renewable and is expired.

After 95 years (which is too long), the original Winnie the Pooh story is in the public domain.

Anyone can do anything they want with the original characters.
