George Romero's "Night of the Living Dead" has been in public domain for what, 35 years?

That's why one can watch the whole movie on the internet or TV.

Any way saw it as a teen at a drive-in, and it scared the sh!t out of me.

Funny...no one ever proposes to take those movies a wholesome way. Like Day at the Picnic or something.
