You would think that a news publication would know how to spell Tucson!
Maybe that the UK variant, like honor vs. honour and apologize vs. apologise, among many others.
That's scary. It means 3 out of 4 women are walking around undiagnosed. 🥸
I read on FR that 1 in 4 women are on antidepressants. I consider that A Lot.

OH My! That is Hilarious!
His car broke down.

They are looking for us to reply with our stock phrases like "safe and effective" so they can shame us by later saying it was a suicide. Even though they knew it was a suicide all along when they made the post.
They are just looking to bait us so they can get their "gotcha" moment. Which is not in good faith.
But you make a good point about people contemplating suicide after they made a bad choice and are suffering consequences.
Lol! And Grandma just drank my last beer.
A person who doesn’t actually have ADHD should not get or be prescribed Adderall. People with ADD do not react to it in a negative way. I totally agree that it is overprescribed.
The brains of people with ADD are different than those who don’t have ADD.
I’ve been taking Adderall for most of the past 40 years. It does help me focus on my tasks more easily. I also don’t smoke, drink, have never used an illegal or legal addictive substance. Problems arise when people have co-morbidities.
And no; Adderall is not legal meth. Just because the chemical composition has chemical looking similarities, doesn’t make it legal meth. Based on your reasoning CO2 has the same affect as CO.
Adderall has other uses, such as helping with cancer-related fatigue; like in dealing with metastatic prostate cancer, which is a huge reason why I continue to take it. I get my prescriptions from a cancer-related fatigue doctor at MD Anderson; and I doubt anyone would question her qualifications.
I’m sorry about your brother and extended family. Adderall does not lead people to commit suicide. Maybe your boss’ husband was also on anti-depressants. That is a deadly combination. Your brother likely had other “issues” - co-morbidities- in addition to ADHD. If he was misdiagnosed, that’s another possibility.
My brother has an addictive personality. He is a recovered alcoholic. He was diagnosed with ADHD by a shrink at Menninger and prescribed Adderall. He immediately began taking 30 days’ worth in two weeks and seeking additional Adderall on the street, seeing and hearing things, screwing up at his $100K annually job, being in general nasty, etc. Ultimately his love of Adderall caused him to lose his job, house, and family.
The husband of the attorney I worked for (I am an attorney) was prescribed Adderall for ADHD as an adult by the VA. He did the same thing. Ultimately hung himself after doing a bunch of crazy stuff that caused her to get an order of protection for the office and me to quit and go out on my own.
Once on my own I had several family law cases where one parent was addicted to Adderall and wouldn’t take care of the children, rode around in their car the entire night, had a vicious temper, fought with everyone and ruined relationships.
Adderall is a life wrecker. There have to be better meds than Adderall.
LOL!
