Poor guy lost all his money due to no responsibility of his own!

My wife and I do the same with slots. We play the same slot together and take turns pulling the lever (pushing the button these days). Playing separate slots like many couples do not only doubles the velocity of your money being spent but you are unable to share winning the rare jackpot together.

If we win a decent jackpot we blow it on a nice dinner. It's all about having a good time, we don't expect any life-changing wins. The most we ever won was $2,700 on a QuickHit machine.

The only game I will play solo is blackjack and it's only the 3:2 tables and basic strategy. My wife finds that game boring so I'll go to the tables when she's at the pool or something. If you play disciplined basic strategy, you should last on the table for hours but if I get lucky in the beginning and go up a hundred dollars or so, I'll cash out. Otherwise, I consider breaking even after a couple hours of play a victory. That includes tipping the dealer.

Frenchman’s Mountain is just East, and very barren. Just a few cacti grow there ... perfect for some meditation on life’s failures.

And seriously ... apparently punking city councils is this guy’s hobby. It’s a fairly weird hobby, IMO ... but not as weird as being a furry.

One time back in the late 90s we were at a casino in Carson City. It was still using the coins - hadn’t yet upgraded to the paper. She put in a quarter on the first pull and got the jackpot. The quarters kept falling down. I laughingly asked her “How did you DO that?” She laughed back “I don’t know!”

We took the winnings and left for a nice dinner.

Well, it was never meant to be a metropolis.

Certainly, LA-to Vegas, to Phoenix was never meant to be and can't remain a megalopolis.

We got waaaaaaaay too many people in this country. And they keep coming.
