Article II, Section 1, Clause 8:
Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:–I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
§3331. Oath of office An individual, except the President, elected or appointed to an office of honor or profit in the civil service or uniformed services, shall take the following oath: “I, AB, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”
Executive orders which are unconstitutional, congressional actions which are unconstitutional, or any government employee who performs an act which is unconstitutional should be removed from office immediately? Where I am having serious concerns is with ideology. Our Constitution, given to us by our Founders protects the citizenry from government and doesn't empower government to provide us with our god given rights.
That is the mainstream and any individual, government agency or group who doesn't believe in our constitution has three options. One, elect people to office that protects our rights. Two, elect people who will work to get us to a constitutional convention to make changes. And three, anyone who is against our constitution are the real radicals and although as Americans we guarantee their rights, they are still insurrectionists who are trying to overthrow the country.
With all of that said, why the flip are Conservatives, who are Constitutionalists being labeled as radicals by the free press and why are we letting those that are saying this get away with it? Sorry for the rant here. but if the press will not do the job for which the first amendment grants them the power to provide oversight of government and report it to the citizenry, why aren't they being held accountable?
They got so much to impeach Biden on and if Repubs do not do it if they take the midterms, then F them, they are finished as a party if they aren’t already under the punk McConnell. Just this waving of student loans is an impeachable offense. Biden has zero power to do that, even Pelosi said it, but he gets away with it anyway. If Biden can do that, where does it end? Impeach the scumbag and we will deal with Kamala as POTUS later.
What they do: will to the best of my Ability, erode, attack and destroy the Constitution of the United States.
I’ve thought about this very same thing for a long time, too. Then I found out that such oaths are not legally binding. The accountability needs to begin when candidates apply for public office. Problem is, they lie. A lot.
The Bible warns several places about taking oaths to God and not fulfilling them. They will answer for their oaths.
Don’t take an oath at all!
James 5:12 - “But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment.”
The rest of the Constitution has been rendered meaningless because we failed to uphold Article II Sec 1 clause 5
Clause 5 Qualifications
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
Obama and Harris are not natural born citizens as they were both born with foreign nationalities.
Natural born citizens are NATURALLY citizens because they could not be anything else, born here of citizen parents.
Anyone born with foreign nationality is NOT a natural born citizen because they were also born a foreigner.
Failure to secure our borders is a clear violation of oath and dereliction of duty of the first order. Should be thrown out of office for illegally and purposely flooding our borders. They should be tried and convicted for their horrible and obvious corruption they don’t even bother to hide anymore
The only problem with this is enforcement, there is no one who can do anything about it or willing. We need term limits.
