As you know, California is going to ban the sale of new gasoline-powered cars starting in 2035. Since 17 other states follow California's emissions rules, the impact is even greater. The states are NY, MA, VT, ME, PA, CT, RI, WA, OR, NJ, MD, DE, CO, MN, NV, VA, NM. Bloomberg article: California Finalizes Details on Banning Gas-Powered Car Sales
If you live in one of those states, spread the word that a ban on gasoline-powered cars is coming, and ask your state representatives where they stand. Biden's release of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to reduce gasolince prices shows that people who drive are a big constituency. (Biden did not fix anything long term of course. When the SPR is filled back up that will push up oil and gasoline prices.)
It looks like NH is an oasis of sanity in the middle of liberal insanity up here in New England.

True at first, but if there are less and less ICE vehicles, there will be less and less gas stations. Long road trips in an ICE vehicle will require as much planning as the same trip done in an EV today.
Gotta find a VW "Thing". Points and condenser, fix it yourself, add a couple of gas can holders and you can cover quite a distance.
The E-Media is doing a trogen horse effort to try to discourage voter turn out. They are in for a big surprise.
So much for the state power grid when they start charging their EVs. Hope they like kerosene lamps and living in darkness

Yup. Sad to say I saw a newish jeep (wrangler?)yesterday plugged into a charging station at city hall. Parking access for that spot was more convenient than handicap parking. Thinking about carrying an extension cord around to route under my hood. 😲😂✌

Of that list of states, there is one that I live close to, & it has many attractions, is a beautiful state, but through the actions of their politicians I don’t feel safe even crossing their state line any more. Because of their laws, it has also created enforcement problems for it’s neighboring states. It is becoming another California.
Speaking of EVs & cold temps, consider this. Some of these EVs( not sure which ones) have temperature controlled batterys. Guess where the power comes from to control the temp of the battery? Voila! Leave the EV sitting awhile with no charging & the battery is dead.
The more you hear about EV’s the worse it gets. Maybe I should buy that new Acura I wanted before we are all forced into Energizer Bunny cars.
