17 states follow California's emissions rules and will bank gasoline-powered cars by 2035
vanity

As you know, California is going to ban the sale of new gasoline-powered cars starting in 2035. Since 17 other states follow California's emissions rules, the impact is even greater. The states are NY, MA, VT, ME, PA, CT, RI, WA, OR, NJ, MD, DE, CO, MN, NV, VA, NM. Bloomberg article: California Finalizes Details on Banning Gas-Powered Car Sales

If you live in one of those states, spread the word that a ban on gasoline-powered cars is coming, and ask your state representatives where they stand. Biden's release of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to reduce gasolince prices shows that people who drive are a big constituency. (Biden did not fix anything long term of course. When the SPR is filled back up that will push up oil and gasoline prices.)

I fricken hate WA. The damn libs have everything in their control and there’s no way to go around it. My only hope is if there are enough poor latinos in this state to protest this. Rich libs have their heads up their rears and don’t realize how these draconian policies will hurt everyone, especially the poor and small businesses.

How soon before they BAN possession and/or sale of GASOLINE? Will this INCLUDE JET FUEL the Lear Jet Liberals so desperately need to enjoy their "rules for thee but not me" lifestyles?

Fortunately, I'll be DEAD before America completely IMPLODES.

Regarding the midterms and the 2024 election, does anyone REALLY think these WRECKING BALL DEMONS will cede power from this point forward? THINK AGAIN.

Midwest looks pretty safe so far.”

Wrong, the car makers will not make cars that cannot be sold in half of the country so these rat states will in effect dictate what cars are available to the rest of the country. This would be the end of ICE cars and it is all based on a lie.

Not Youngkin, that emissions requirement dates back years ago, and.. there’s no requirement for VA to stop selling gas-powered cars by 2035.

Virginia probably adopted CA’s standards long before Youngkin took office.

What a handy list of states to avoid living in, visiting, or doing business with.
