Very sad. I had a friend in HS who lived in Interlachen. Very pretty place but pretty rural as I recall. It’s probably all built up by now, like most of Florida these days.

Why does anyone need five pit bulls? All it takes is one of them to get agitated and the whole pack becomes so. The dogs were not adequately secured and obviously posed a threat to humans. The owners deserve to face felony manslaughter charges. In this case, someone lost her life because of these people’s moronic actions.

Interesting that horses are mentioned. So assuming somewhat rural and open, vs tight housing and so on. Possibly good shooting environment to put down the dogs.
