No named tropical cyclones since early July through late August, 2022. Nothing of concern down the visible pipeline. But La Niña still strong. What gives?
Jim Cantore loves to walk along the shores focused on the camera during hurricanes. Loves his own mug so much.
Only Climate Change could cause this. This is a bad thing, it’s different from last year. We’re all going to die!
Nice, real nice.. The day the climate STOPS changing will be a REALLY, REALLY bad day.
LOL
Was that 2017 or a different year?
gloBULL warming?
Yikes...you’re right!
It’s early, anything can happen in September.
Fox’s new weather channel looks pretty good.
They’re showing the jet stream—which normally fluctuates north & south & everywhere— is steadily moving west generally straight across the tropics, but closer to the equator, through Venezuela rather than close to the tropic of cancer through Carribean islands, S. Florida & Gulf.
It’s running into the pacific well south of central america and California.
I’ll assume this jet stream is the cause of hurricane inactivity, but I know nothing.
There’s a few things that mess with hurricanes, but high level shear wind that tears the top off the storm is the most lethal.
Actually think it more likely the idiots running the White House either broke or don’t know how to operate the weather control machine in the basement! 🙄
Yep, change is the only constant.

Since I had my 6 breaker transfer switch installed last year......Florida may never see a hurricane again.
Please, FReepers— take regular looks at the Saturday free reports from exceptional commercial professional meteorologist Joe Bastardi. At weatherbell.com
You will have to learn about the science of meteorology, and understand the methods used of historical tracking, of hurricanes from the cyclical past.
Will have a season— later than Labor Day, and affecting East Coast. And this company in March was telling us what the media is telling us now. The media desperate for a storm to drive up ad revenue. Nothing going on- Tropical Storm warning for Texas coast (King Ranch says- thanks for the rain!)
And enjoy thoroughly the humor of the science fraud that is “climate change”
Saturday Summary— late afternoon each Saturday. Scroll to the bottom Summary, and move into playback about 1 minute or so to get to the report. Take notes.
