Fox’s new weather channel looks pretty good.
They’re showing the jet stream—which normally fluctuates north & south & everywhere— is steadily moving west generally straight across the tropics, but closer to the equator, through Venezuela rather than close to the tropic of cancer through Carribean islands, S. Florida & Gulf.
It’s running into the pacific well south of central america and California.
I’ll assume this jet stream is the cause of hurricane inactivity, but I know nothing.
There’s a few things that mess with hurricanes, but high level shear wind that tears the top off the storm is the most lethal.
