Yeah, but the man caught the car!
Some days you’re the windshield, some days you’re the bug.
Think of it as evolution in action.
Just last week, I witnessed a man jump out of his car at the biggest intersection in town to chase down his dog who had jumped out when he saw another dog.
Dog was successful and so was the man.
Sometimes, you have to remember, it’s a dog, not a human toddler out there. It will be an experience the dog will always remember, provided he survives the lesson.
Identity of the driver of the Honda not disclosed. I remember a time when accidents were reported, readers were given the names and ages of all parties involved. The selective naming they do now tells me something’s up. Like maybe the driver was Muslim? And the media doesn’t want anyone to know it? For fear of retaliation? Remember the Islamic faith has no regard for dogs whatsoever. Just sayin’.
Either he reacted without noticing the car, or he believed the car had enough space to stop in time.
So many sad stories result from split-second reactions and some bad luck.
Poor guy. One impulsive, emotional mistake and he paid dearly for it. May he Rest In Peace.
The are not even going to tell us if the dog was hit too.
Very poor journalism.
If that doesn’t fit a Far Side page nothing does.
RIP.
