'Ailing' Putin is flailing over his war strategy and torn between using nuclear weapons or admitting defeat and handing back invaded Ukrainian regions, claims Telegram channel

An ailing Vladimir Putin is flailing over his war strategy, torn between using nuclear weapons and accepting defeat and handing back Ukrainian regions invaded by his forces, a Telegram channel claims.

Amid fresh concerns over his health, his security officials have bluntly told the warmonger president that he has run out of 'good' options.

This comes as the death toll in the Russian armed forces plus separatist fighters and pro-Putin private armies has reached almost 65,000, said General SVR Telegram channel, an opposition source offering 'insider' information which the Kremlin is 'seeking to shut down'.

There is 'despondency' among Putin’s senior entourage that he had privately raised the 'extreme' option with 'top aides” of a 'goodwill' to cede newly invaded territories to Ukraine.

At the same time, there is a warning from his defence chiefs that a Ukrainian military counter strike is likely to be 'effective'.

Such an outcome would threaten his presidency, being seen as a humbling, crushing defeat.

But Putin’s leading officials are also said to be braced for a 'sharp deterioration' in his medical condition.

'With a high degree of probability, we can say that soon the president will not be able to personally hold meetings and participate in large events,' said the channel, which has long asserted the he suffers from cancer and other serious medical problems.

Putin’s absence will be explained as due to a return of the Covid pandemic, it was alleged.

In recent meetings with his security and defence aides, claimed General SVR, 'various options were discussed, from the possibility of mobilising and using tactical nuclear weapons, to opening a second front in a third country, and, finally, to "gestures of good will" with the return of the occupied territories of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions to Ukraine.'

“What Vlad miscalculated is that”

This may get lot’s of interesting replies, but what Vlad miscalculated was the response of Ukraine, it’s people, it’s government and the Western governments. I think Vlad thought that with an initial large invasion the Ukraine government would flee to Poland et al, the country would collapse and he could take what portions he wanted and install a puppet government for the rest of the country. That did not happen (reasons why for a later post), now we have a fairly “hot” war in Eastern Europe. This has some bad similarities to WWI.

Of all you mention, I despise the man bun wearers the most. Vlad Putin is OK, and a righteous dude, compared to them.

Right. Kiev and Zelensky government did not cave or run. Matter of fact they wasted all Russian invading forces. I was shocked. I was sucked into the propaganda of how mighty Putin’s Russian army is. (was)

So the Russians ran like rats and abandoned the Kiev front. Now the war is in the Eastern Ukraine with artillery and rockets back and forth. Precise targeting info/intel from America is making the difference, and so are the multi-launch systems we are sending. Germany (Gazprom addicts) is slacking off but we are making Poland into a military superpower.

Not defending the Russians, but maybe Putin wanted to save most of the ukr. infrastructure for the future citizens of Russia....could explain the tippy toeing.
Be warned however, most of the information is bogus.

If Zelensky is still alive after Ukraine surrenders, he will be hanged as a war criminal and transnational gangster.

Daily Mail propaganda is always good for a laugh!
did Vlad eat too much dog?
.
Unfortunately for the neocon globalists and Z, winning on twitter doesn’t translate well to the field where the ukes are in a lot of trouble
.
This is why Z is desperate with sabotage attacks and idiotically shelling a nuclear power plant.
.
The ukie maginot line has now been penetrated in at least a dozen locations. Russians haven’t completed breaking thru the fortifications yet but three breakouts are starting to look like the Popasna breakout which led to the liberation of the entire Luhansk republic. the breakout near Ugledar could lead to encircling there or to Marinka. The pesky breakout is still advancing...and a main supply road for Adveeka is under fire control. The Wagner breakout south of Bakmut moves slow but moving.Dacha and BacMudski have been captured.Kodema and Soledar and Bahkmut will fall soon. Uke lines could collapse entirely so Z may have take a break from getting Schuab’s gay marriage and LGBT ideology implemented..
.
Check out all the new advances in today’s mil summary

I think that would be a PEEPER...

It's kind of like that one time where idiots in the media assigned Red to Republicans and Blue to Demorats and we all said "but, but... whatever, I don't care".

I'm pretty sure the Zeeper origin story came from the "Z"s painted on Russian Vehicles in the southern offensive and held up mindlessly at Putin Rally's (back when he could still go out in public) and was not for the Z in Zeleskyyyyy.

” Poland into a military superpower.”
Don’t think so. BUT there is something about the US/Western
artillery that seems to be working.

WHO IS NIKOLAI PATRUSHEV? HARDLINER TIPPED TO LEAD RUSSIA WHILE PUTIN HAS ‘CANCER SURGERY’

Nikolai Patrushev is the driving force behind Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and may be given the command while Putin steps away for cancer surgery According to a “Kremlin insider”, Vladimir Putin may take a break from the Ukraine invasion for a few days while he prepares for his cancer surgery. However, he is not going to stop the war, rather is said to give control of the operation to his hardline security council secretary Nikolai Patrushev, a former KGB counterintelligence officer.

Patrushev, 70, is reportedly the man who persuaded Putin that Kyiv was filled with neo-Nazis. He is also regarded as a key architect of Russia’s invasion strategy in Ukraine.

Patrushev hailed from a military background and was born in June 1951, just a few months before Putin. His parents had survived the Nazi siege and opted to start a fresh life after the war in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg). The echoes of Russia’s terrible imperial past haunted the young Patrushev in the Soviet era. As we all know, he is the driving force behind the invasion of Ukraine, it is well understood that Russia will go to any length to achieve its aim of rebuilding not only Ukraine but Europe and the rest of the world.

What happened to Putin?

Vladimir Putin, 69, is said to have postponed his surgery, which is now unlikely to happen before he presides over the massive Red Square on May 9, Victory Day, which is the commemoration of Hitler’s defeat. The procedure was supposed to take place in the second half of April but was allegedly postponed. “Putin was recommended to undergo surgery, the date of which is being discussed and agreed,” according to a report from the site which claims to have insider Kremlin knowledge. “There seems to be no particular urgency, but it cannot be delayed either.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin is due to undergo a surgery soon

“The Russian President Vladimir Putin has oncology, and the latest problems identified during [his latest] examination are associated with this disease,” it continued. Putin’s medical difficulties have long been disputed by the Kremlin, which presents him in good condition despite repeated odd absences in recent years. However, ex-MI6 head Sir Richard Dearlove recently said that there is often a correlation between the sickness and a “loss of restraint”.

Vladimir Putin may give Nikolai Patrushev the control of the Ukraine invasion

Sir Dearlove, who led the intelligence service from 1999 to 2004, said, “Maybe Putin’s behavior, maybe his rationality, is prejudiced or compromised by illness.” He added, “The best explanation, that we don’t know whether it’s correct or not, is that he may have Parkinson’s. That certainly I’ve heard from several neurologists who say that loss of restraint, psychosis, are very common Parkinson’s symptoms.”

Despite large loss of life and materiel, the battle lines have hardly moved in months. A village here, a village there, for the amount of blood spilled Russia has little to show for it.

On the flip side, the Ukrainians have been effective at bleeding the Russians but haven’t been able to roll them back.

My money is still on Ukraine. The Russians keep having to dig deeper and deeper into their reserves with nothing new to show for it.

“Russia’s supporters here are largely ‘Putin” supporters, they embrace what they see as the ‘strong man’, they cling to individuals and you can see in their posts”

Thank you. I appreciate your post. Very insightful.
