'Ailing' Putin is flailing over his war strategy and torn between using nuclear weapons or admitting defeat and handing back invaded Ukrainian regions, claims Telegram channel

An ailing Vladimir Putin is flailing over his war strategy, torn between using nuclear weapons and accepting defeat and handing back Ukrainian regions invaded by his forces, a Telegram channel claims.

Amid fresh concerns over his health, his security officials have bluntly told the warmonger president that he has run out of 'good' options.

This comes as the death toll in the Russian armed forces plus separatist fighters and pro-Putin private armies has reached almost 65,000, said General SVR Telegram channel, an opposition source offering 'insider' information which the Kremlin is 'seeking to shut down'.

There is 'despondency' among Putin’s senior entourage that he had privately raised the 'extreme' option with 'top aides” of a 'goodwill' to cede newly invaded territories to Ukraine.

At the same time, there is a warning from his defence chiefs that a Ukrainian military counter strike is likely to be 'effective'.

Such an outcome would threaten his presidency, being seen as a humbling, crushing defeat.

But Putin’s leading officials are also said to be braced for a 'sharp deterioration' in his medical condition.

'With a high degree of probability, we can say that soon the president will not be able to personally hold meetings and participate in large events,' said the channel, which has long asserted the he suffers from cancer and other serious medical problems.

Putin’s absence will be explained as due to a return of the Covid pandemic, it was alleged.

In recent meetings with his security and defence aides, claimed General SVR, 'various options were discussed, from the possibility of mobilising and using tactical nuclear weapons, to opening a second front in a third country, and, finally, to "gestures of good will" with the return of the occupied territories of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions to Ukraine.'

Western Sources, with their Western script, for Western consumption, by a Western White House to the Western White House media, in an otherwise blackout of Russian advance and hold on UKR.

No wonder some Americans are reeling.

Only the U$ is still feeding the War-4-Profit machine to any $ignificant measure, in both cash and material.

The rest of European NATO countries who are trapped inland with no ocean front property are greatly dependent on Russia transport of energy.

These nations already reduced the sanctions overreach against Russia, their own rah rah For UKR, and certainly their own contributions To UKR into now teaspoons, compared to the Biden War Machine.

Sanctions backfired when the stupid people realized the price was too high to pay, if there was to be hope left to survive winter without a total energy collapse, and throw in a financial collapse.

Surprisingly long and good article.

Can’t say I have a lot of sympathy for the bearded ideolofascist and his wacky “nineteen-eighty-four” worldview schemes.

None of Putin’s successors want to inherit his war. And the oligarchs want it ended.

What Vlad miscalculated is that are plenty of nasty old bastards in the USA and NATO who worked against the USSR in their prime military and intelligence careers. They are still pissed off and still have scores to settle with the Russkies. These old bastards still have the younger ones they trained. They still have their contacts. They are making sure that Ukraine forces get satellite and airplane intel for precise targeting by HIMARS etc. And in real time.

This is what is killing the Rus as their ammo dumps get blown up every day and get me howling with laughter. No Rus ammo=no Rus war. FOAD Rus and go home.

“options included
mobilization
used of tactical nukes
opening front in northern Kazakstan
retreating from temporarily occupied territories”

Not according to the headline.

By the way, other options include:
1. sending Kiev, Lvov, and other Western Ukraine cities to the Stone Age
2. cutting links to Poland and other hostile nations
3. terrorist-type attacks on family members of those associated with the Kiev government

Russia’s supporters here are largely ‘Putin” supporters, they embrace what they see as the ‘strong man’, they cling to individuals and you can see in their posts, that they are full of names of individuals, a Putin, or a Soros, or Biden, or a Zelenskyy, so naturally, they don’t realize that other people are watching this Russia invasion in terms of long term strategic interests for America and Europe and Red China, most importantly what it means for America in 10, 20, or 30 years.

The people promoting Russian power gains don’t realize that someone could not care at all about the current Ukrainian leader Zelenskyy or the current Russian dictator strong man Putin, so to them opposing Russian European invasions means supporting an individual.

Silly assed neocon, blinded by hatred of one man...

“As an academic who tracks Putin and his inner circle, it is apparent to me that Patrushev’s close relationship with Putin, which began more than 50 years ago, has given him a good deal of influence over the president.

Both deplore the end of the Soviet Union, and both share a deep distrust of the West that is fueled by nonsensical conspiracy theories.

Patrushev has emerged as one of the leading voices in Putin’s inner circle who wants to wage a merciless war in Ukraine, with the ultimate objective of capturing Kyiv.

According to Mark Galeotti, a British expert on Russia’s security services, Patrushev is Putin’s most right-wing ideologue and is referred to as “the Hawk’s Hawk,” within Putin’s inner circle.”

In a brilliant analysis Captain Obvious gave three possible outcomes:

Russia wins

Russia loses

stalemate

The mental acuity astounds the casual onlooker.

Russia has been greatly humiliated, even if they succeed in their invasion, the world has seen how clumsily and inefficient it has all been.

Russia’s military has been exposed and its weapons and military/political leadership have been exposed, Russia is in a desperate struggle to do something that 6 months ago we all thought would be done in days with a super-efficient, modernized Russian Army and Air Force, and Navy.

Win or lose, the shine is off of Russia as a modernized mighty war machine.

Didn't the same happen in Finland in 1940?
