We’ve been taking 600 mg NAC daily. I found that if I take it at night, my dreams become very vivid, and for me sometimes a little weird, so taking it in the morning instead has helped that. I have no idea why I’m wired that way. It doesn’t seem to affect my husband in that regard.
I’d like to give this combination of glycine and NAC a try.

Got it. Both definitions have their uses.

Godd catch for a great combined powder option. I had not come across that. Do note that NAC has sulfur in it, so it is a little nasty to drink in a powder form.
I can say that you can use the NOW Glycine one pound powder form with Swanson capsule NAC form for under $0.50/day for 1,800 mg of Glycine and 1,800 mg of NAC. That Pure Encapsulation version is nearly triple that cost per scoop of 3,600 mg combined Glycine and NAC, but still quite a bit cheaper than the Nestle Celltrient Cellular Protect form.
The secret to cheap NAC from Swanson is when they include their branded NAC on a 35% or 40% sale occasion, which you only find by checking your emails and visiting the Swanson NAC web page.

Ive been taking NAC for the last 3 1/2 years, and have been reading studies on Glycine the last little while, and added it to my Supps about three months ago.
remember people; when taking NAC, to make sure your vitC is at least equal or more than the amount of NAC you’re taking.

Vitamin C does help extend the body’s use of the glutathione the GlyNAC helps produce, but I have not heard of any ratio of Vitamin C to either amino acid in GlyNAC.
I do recall “sufficient” Vitamin C can extend the glutathione by over 50%, though.

To be able to view this study, it costs $52, and you only get access for 24 hours.

That was a recent change, then. I'm shocked. I used to get a bunch more from Amazon, including NAC, but I found that the quality of Swanson Vitamin supplements was always tops in ConsumerLab’s independent tests, and judicious used of sales allowed me to buy much cheaper directly from Swanson than I could for any comparable quality from Amazon.

Hmmmmmmmm, Amazon now sells NAC (it came off the shelves in the last year+ as the FDA said it might need a patent) and Quercetin too. Covid over?

Good to know. I see NAC in stores - I’m not sure how the Fed’s plan to ban it is going.
