Amish farm under threat from U.S. federal govt for refusal to abandon traditional farming practices

Amos Miller, the farm's owner, contends that he’s preparing food the way God intended — but the United States government doesn’t see things that way.

Miller's Organic Farm, located in the remote Amish village of Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania, has been around for almost 30 years.

The farm supplies everything from grass-fed beef and cheese, to raw milk and organic eggs, to dairy from grass-fed water buffalo and all types of produce, all to roughly 4,000 private food club members who pay top dollar for high quality whole food.

The private food club members appreciate their freedom to get food from an independent farmer that isn’t processing his meat and dairy at U.S. Department of Agriculture facilities, which mandates that food be prepared in ways that Miller’s Organic Farm believe make it less nutritious.

Amos Miller, the farm's owner, contends that he’s preparing food the way God intended — but the U.S. government doesn’t see things that way.

They recently sent armed federal agents to the farm and demanded he cease operations. The government is also looking to issue more than $300,000 in fines — a request so steep, it would put the farm out of business.

This is an attack on Amish religious freedom just 150 miles from Washington D.C.

Making it even more independent, Miller’s farm also doesn’t use gasoline or fertilizer, and therefore the war between Ukraine and Russia isn’t affecting his bottom line, unlike every other farming competitor in the country.

Miller isn't dependent on big industry players or the government, and he’s providing healthy food to his community the way he believes God intended. The government is trying to intimidate his operation and shut it down.

If you believe the Amish should have the right to exercise their religious beliefs and their ability to provide healthy food to their community, sign our petition at LeaveThemAlone.com and I’ll personally deliver it to the U.S. Federal Eastern District Court of Pennsylvania.

So? Likely the biggest Amish operation so that’s why they’re targeted, sending a message to all the smaller operations.

Simply just another attack on any fair skinned Christians, doesn’t matter if they’re the most likely to pay their taxes either.

....raw milk...

That alone can get them, but if buyer agree to it..... Of course, why are seat belts required against the users will, while weed is allowed?

“..It is time to put a up an emergency food supply in your house...”

Yep.
Those of us that live in hurricane-prone areas tend to do so this already but on a shorter timescale. It would not be that difficult to stretch it out, and a good idea to do with the way things are going.

"Whole food" makes whole, healthy people.

This evil practice must be stopped!

Used to buy Mennonite cider-unpasteurized and everything. Best cider I ever had!

And that’s why the armed jackboots from FedGov will shut him down. FedGov is a fascist operation. Only Big Pharma, Big Tech, and Big Agra allowed. Small independent businesses will be crushed out of existence because the government can’t control them and the mega corporations have bribed the politicians to destroy them.

With 4000 members this isn’t a traditional Amish farm.

Far more of a large scale commercial operation.

That represents their customer base. 4,000 customers is not a ‘large scale commercial operation’. To survive year round, exactly how many customers do you think it takes to support a farm?

Years ago, my Dad was contracted by the state of Minnesota to inspect chicken processing plants in the northwest corner of the state as it was too remote for the normal bureaucrats based in Minneapolis.

He told me that the big corporate commercial operations bordered on sickening and did just the bare minimum they needed to do to get by. There was a family run Mennonite operation, however, that went well above and beyond. Guess where we took our chickens when it was time to harvest?

Supporting local food producers without government sanction should be a priority for every non-compliant patriot. Be healthier and less governable.

The FedGuv is hostile to farming at every level.

The government is hostile to any and all harvesters of natural resources, not just farmers, but miners, loggers, ranchers, commercial fishermen. This is a war which has been going on since Noxious Nixon began it with his EPA, OSHA, Aboriginal Indian rights, etc

Our fascist government is aiming its forces at the Amish? People who are no threat to anyone? People who commit essentially no crime?

Looks like our fascist government is taking out an easy target first. Then they’ll come for other no-threat targets, like the Mormons. Who’s next in their battle against religion?

Once again, the Feds are harassing decent people.

Someone actually believes a mere petition is going to make a difference to Feds?

While the Mar-A-Lago raid is still fresh in the public’s mind this story should be spammed across the airwaves. Whatever it takes to bring awareness about the Satan-driven agencies.

“One of the biggest threats to the USDA and FDA is healthy Amish families.”

They vote MAGA, among other reasons.

“Maybe the Feds just want to control every facet of your existence.”

The Fed mentality is “control it or destroy it”, but then that’s pretty much the same at all levels of government.

This is an attack on Amish religious freedom just 150 miles from Washington D.C.

Nonsense. This has nothing to do with religious freedom.

Amos is free to grow and raise his food for himself and his family any way he pleases. He can even give it away to his community.

Amos is running a business and needs to meet the same standards as everyone else.
