A Californian father has told how his 'inconsolable' four-year-old escorted from his school by a police officer because he refused to wear a face mask.
The father, who wished only to be known as Shawn, was confronted by police on Thursday when he dropped his son off for his second day at Theuerkauf Elementary School.
In a clip that Shawn shared with DailyMail.com, the little boy can be seen walking out of the school in Mountain View - the town that's home to Google's global HQ - without a face mask.
'I'm sorry - he's not able to come in unless he has his mask on,' says Michelle Williams, the school principal.
'I welcome him here, and I've said this before and I'll say it again: I want him here, but it is our district's policy that students have to wear a mask.'
She adds: 'He is a lovely child. We are here to support and serve him.
'I am here to serve all our students on our campus. I cannot keep spending time on this same issue.'
The little boy holds the form he has been given up to his father, asking: 'What does this say?'
She eventually tells Shawn: 'I'm going to have to have you removed from campus if you do not leave at this time.'
Shawn, still recording, notes: 'They called a police officer to remove a four-year-old from campus.'
The officer tells Shawn that he is simply there to enforce the rules as they stand.

Dad, your kid is four. Don’t put him through this anxiety and trauma. Just put him in a decent school.

Do these maskholes consider how kids with hearing and/or speech imparments are impacted by their useless mandates? As if they don’t have enough problems with communication and comprehension skills
Home-school the child or put the child in a private school that is not administered by idiots. You can even unschool the child and let him learn on his own. It matters not which one, but remove the child from the public school system. I know 4 year-old boys. They are not going to wear a useless mask in any way that is going to prevent them from getting a cold. The mask is simply a signal that the parents have given total control of their child over to the government indoctrination system.
After two and a half years of Covid hysteria, my son and his wife both recently came down with the “virus”. It was much like the simple flu that so many of us get occasionally. It then spread to the kids, and the older two (boys) and one of the younger girls had symptoms. The seven and three year old girls suffered nary a symptom. Thankfully, the seven year old kept the three year old amused for the week while the others were “feeling bad” (not on their death bed or in the hospital. They drank water and orange juice, took cold medicine), along with zinc and Ivermectin.
Everyone is now back to normal. The hysteria has to stop!
They don't care because wearing a mask is their religion. But you're right, it probably violates their IEPs (individual educational plan).
Can’t tolerate any free-thinkers on campus. Send that tike to a re-education camp, along with his parents.
But seriously, I can’t believe adults are still buying into the “mask is protection” silliness. But then there are a lot here who believe that as well.
Well, at least they can apprehend 4 YO boys... shooters actively killing 4 YO boys, not so much.
Today it’s more important than ever that kids wear masks whenever they’re told to do so.

Properly vetted charter school, parochial school, or home school. Unless, of course, you really don’t give a damn about the kid.
I agree. The father is an equal participant, with the school people, in this situation, which was no doubt upsetting to the young boy.

Summoning cops to remove the kid, but preventing them from arresting shoplifters under $1,000.

A couple of days ago I was playing a 9-hole course in Alameda, CA and behind me was a 20-something father and son…both masked. Son looked about 5 years old.
