In 1912, amateur archaeologist Charles Dawson claimed to have discovered the "missing link" between ape and man, known as "The Piltdown Man." He had found part of a human-like skull in Pleistocene gravel beds near Piltdown village in Sussex, England. Dawson submitted the find to Arthur Smith Woodward, keeper of geology at the Natural History Museum. Smith Woodward made a reconstruction of skull fragments, and the archaeologists hypothesized that the find indicated evidence of a human ancestor living 500,000 years ago. They announced their discovery at a Geological Society meeting in 1912. For the most part, their story was accepted as fact. However, subsequent chemical testing showed that the skull and jaw fragments actually came from two different species, a human and an ape.
The conclusion: Piltdown Man was an audacious fake and sophisticated scientific fraud. Forty-one years elapsed between the discovery of the "Piltdown Man" and the determination that it was a fraud.
In 1988, the United Nations formed the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (U.N. IPCC). In its seminal report in 1990, the U.N. IPCC stated that "at the then current rate of world emissions of CO2, the global mean temperature would likely increase by 1°C by 2025." This statement formed the basis for the hypothesis that anthropogenic (man-made) global warming resulted from the increased concentration of CO2 in the Earth's lower atmosphere resulting from man-made activities. Central to the hypothesis was that the temperature of the lower troposphere would increase as the concentration of CO2 in the troposphere increased. Therefore, in its 1990 report, the U.N. IPCC established a direct linkage between the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere and the temperature of the lower troposphere.

Aside from ‘Earth is flat’ & the ‘Lipid hypothesis’, I agree.
I’d suggest Darwin’s “Theory of Evolution” was the bigger fraud. It has upended so much in the world.
This is well known among thinking people.
Take out “scientific.” It is just a common fraud.
...and it is the easiest one to disprove.
There are historical records showing that earth’s climate has changed over the last 10,000 years. Glaciers covered North America, the Sahara Desert was a lush green Savannah. There was a little ice age during the middle ages.
There are also records of volcano eruptions so big that there was a year without a summer.
Climate change is real, man made climate change is a evil fraud.
I have to lump those events in with the Cholera epidemics of the early 20th century (scientific ignorance, rather than fraud). There are many examples of such ignorance, including a ‘little’ one about H. pylori.
The ‘witch craze’ was borne of widespread poisonings caused by fungal contamination of food stuffs, primarily bread.
mRNA does certainly fit #2 for scientific fraud this year, however.
“climate (piltdown) scientists” have made specific predictions based on their hypothesis. Each and every predicted has been observed to be FALSE. Therefore, man-caused global warming has already been shown to be as false as piltdown, if one is a real scientist.
No educated person has believed that the Earth is flat in 2000 years.

At one time, SW Ohio was covered by a 2-mile thick glacier.
Then those evil SUVs caused the melting of the glacier receding to the Artic.
About 1,000 years ago, the Vikings sailed west and landed on a large island that was warm, lush and green. That island is now called Greenland and is mostly covered in ice.
Did the Vikings have SUVs and caused Greenland to warm so much it became a fertile land of green?

That same IPCC stated that the “climate crisis” is finally the means to destroy the capitalist economies. That is the goal. Not just personal enrichment (which is goal of every commie trash) but destruction of all liberty.
As to CO2 — it is essential for all life on earth. Plants thrive at 1200ppm and above. It also ceases to have any temperature impact >400ppm.
To your points: if you put historical weather / climate data into these warming models they don’t predict today’s weather / climate.
Unless they adjust the data or the model.
It’s fraudulent ‘science.’
To which I’d add, by its very nature the scientific method encourages challenge. Nothing is off-limits. Nothing is settled.
And that’s obviously a very good thing; that’s how science progresses. Galileo corrected Aristotle’s errors. Newton corrected Galileo’s errors. Einstein corrected Newton’s errors. And today’s scientists are welcome to challenge Einstein.
However, no one is permitted to challenge any part of the Climate Change narrative. It’s “settled science”. This is a deep and very disturbing tragedy.
