Too soon. Hope there's no strike-while-the-iron-is-hot element here. He's not eligible to run for a second term.

I say run for the Senate in ‘24 against that Dr. Suess fella. He’d be 3 years into his one term and it would raise the Lt. Gov.’s profile. Win-win. Should he run and lose not that big a deal. He’d be our top tier candidate unless you throw in Liz. Sarc.

We need that Senate seat. is he a team player?

Other than managing a win in VA, what bold moves has he done as governor?

Can you elaborate on why a one-term governor can’t run a second time?

Extreme term limits in VA. It is not unusual for someone to come back after a forced breather (e.g. Doug Wilder).

Youngkin could be a good VP candidate.

Put him in the potential VP stack or resumes if you must. But not for president, he’s too raw. we really don’t have much record to judge him by and I’m sick of supporting GOP guys who talk incredible games and turn out to be uniparty hacks like Flake, Rubio ... you get the idea.

*Youngkin could be a good VP candidate. * No No No! Vp? You know. A warm bucket of spit. Underemployed.

Does it really matter? Ok so he won. Isn’t that good enough? We haven’t won too much in Va. as I recall.

In VA, a Governor cannot run again, unless he sits out a term.

Youngkin needs to put together a resume as governor.

That means taking risks and showing courage—over and over and over again....

Doug only served one term.
Mills Godwin was the last two term Gov.

I really don’t think that enters into it. Running for a winnable senate seat is not in the DNA of enough GOP governors. Just look at Jeb(2006) Tommy Thompson(vs. Feingold), Ridge in Penn. All tended to be establishment rinos. The frumpy one in Md. and the one in VT. Add Sunuunu in NH. LePage in Maine would have excited us. His time passed. No need for Youngkin to put in the 4 years. By then the state will be on auto pilot after his polices are enacted. It’s only been 6 months. Who else is there?

Thanks for the correction. Faulty memory.

Rubio would make a good VP. He could be the high profile point man/heckler regarding Cuban freedom. They’re gonna have to get rid of communism-the sooner the better. Could Cuba become South Korea in a say, one 10 year period? Plenty of sugar, beaches. We’d all have to take up smoking. Those people just need to wake up.

He seems to be on the right path, might make a good VP for DeSantis in 2028.

I see him as a “Moderate” he’s not out there on the edge like DeSantis much less a Trump.

I’m assuming that the GOP elite has their collective eyes on a Graham-Romney ticket for 2024...

The communists in the WH plan to make sure that “Extreme Radicals” like Youngkin, Trump, & DeSantis will be endlessly vilified or in jail by 2024...

Rubio is not a natural born citizen and he is an Amnesty Senator who wants to abandon the rule of law and surrender the country to illegal aliens.

Moderate? Window dressing perhaps. At some point they’ll hold his skin color against the ticket.

What did the left do for our moderates. W was treated worse than Nixon.
