American Airlines has agreed to purchase 20 supersonic Overture planes from Boom Supersonic...Boom says the Overture jet will fly as fast as Mach 1.7, or 1,304 mph...Boom will build the jet at a new manufacturing plant in North Carolina and expects to roll out the first model in 2025, with the first flight in 2026...Overture will enter commercial service by the end of the decade.

Been over a decade since the last NASA crewed mission. Musk and the rooskis have been taking care of it. But, Artemis is scheduled to do an uncrewed moon shot around August 28. Should be an interesting launch.

It seems to be. Their engine design was reported to violate the law of physics. They were located at the airport where I flew and we all knew each other. It is a severely underfunded operation.
That name shows such questionable judgement that I’d be wary getting anywhere near their aircraft. At the very least I would wait a few years to see how they pan out. I would not be an “early adopter.”
But, but, globull warming.
