I was a late listener to Rush Limbaugh, but I do remember his talking about how the gay population started chipping away at how folks looked at them. Slowly but surely.

However, I do think they are chipping away in the following ways:
1. The sexualization of children and the idea that children can make sexual choices at a young age [currently about gender].
2. The reminder that, for most of history, girls could marry at a very young age.
3. The insistence that Pedo behavior is not a “choice”
4. The idea that children can make life changing choices without the approval, or even knowledge, of their parents.
5. The playbook which says that if you are judgemental against Group X, then you are to be shamed and canceled. This, of course, makes the sheeple reluctant to speak up about anything, no matter how perverted.
Frankly, if you had told me even 10 years ago that it be acceptable for children as young as 5 to switch genders, I would not have believed it. I still have trouble accepting that it happens in a civilized society.
That’s ONLY in prison. Outside of Prison they are lauded by leftists and the Democrat Party.

If so, then give them a driver’s license and let them vote.

Its IMDB listing makes little mention of the film's pedophila aspect. I was surprised when I saw it many years ago. I didn't expect the pedo-sympathy slant. I only knew that it was highly praised.
An earlier 1994 film, Spanking the Monkey, was a sympathetic portrayal of mother-son incest. Another critically lauded film that won major awards.
Many such films were emerging in the 1990s indie film scene. It really was "the gay Nineties" all over again.
