Defund the FBI? At the very least, the next Congress must investigate its serious political misconduct, and hold those responsible accountable for its repeated misdeeds. And it’s clear we need to create an entirely new, de-politicized agency built from the ground up. This time, however, let’s make sure it truly respects America’s Constitution, the only real guarantor of our freedom.

Our Republic is lost. We are now governed by a tyrannical autocracy. We are the subjects of a 2-tiered justice system. Political Opponents are being arrested, jailed and denied due process while actual criminal offenders and corruptors are being hailed as heroes by the propaganda wing of the left.
They don’t fear elections because they believe they control those too.
The FBI would not be pulling this crap if they knew they couldn’t get away with it.
Anyone remember Elian Gonzales? The fact is these dramas are a tactic of the left. These actions give marching orders to the leftist naysayers who see no evil. MSM controls the narrative.
Does the rest of America take exception? Independents’? The price of gas and inflation will go down just a bit before November-distraction. An October surprise is being planned. Someone may die to prove a point-been done before. We’re being set up to fail if we take the bait.

And what’s to prevent that new de-politicized agency from becoming politicized in the future? Wasn’t that what the original FBI was supposed to be when it was first founded?
The FBI has its own internal affairs division to prevent abuses, but apparently that division of the FBI is toothless and worthless.
Might as well ask the Mafia to investigate itself.

I’d start with big downsizing. Starve the beast. Make the good ones federal Marshalls. Make the rest beat cops-no federal umbrella to work under. Being politicized is always a danger. A smaller organization will be less so. Put General Flynn in charge. Payback.

I like the idea of folding it into Federal Marshals service, placed under its supervision after thoroughly weeding out the miscreants.
No… there is no paperwork that will reveal read this was the FBI merely doing their duty. This was a corrupt act of a politicized DOJ and it’s FBI.
The marshals have a good reputation. You don’t mix FBI into them. You’ll merely corrupt the US marshals.
Make nonpartisanship a legal requirement which is enforceable. Remove the FBIs control over personnel and disciplinary matters. Move prosecution authority to another agency. Eliminate counterintelligence investigations of Americans. Ban the funding of instigators.

Because even here on FreeRepublic, the most conservative website on the internet, there are scores of people who oppose upholding the natural born citizen clause, the purpose of which was to prevent foreigners from being President.
ANYONE born with foreign nationality is NOT a natural born citizen.

it is time cor a “corporate style” re-tooling, re-fitting, downsizing.
Close the offices in less than metropolis cities.
Re-centralize the bureau.
Close “the overseas offices of tbe FBI”, and assign that to the CIA, as it once was -FBI for the CONUS, and the CIA for overseas purposes, period.
Both of them need to be shut down, they are far more of a danger to the citizens than what they pretend to protect us from.
The worst thing we can do is treat anything coming out of the DNC-Law Enforcement/Media as anything but a lie and a ruse.
Just laugh at their heavy-handedness. They’re keystone cops unworthy of respect or seriousness.
The actual reason for this is they hate Trump, because he stands up for us, the normal, somewhat conservative but always generous American people.
They cannot stand us flyover deplorables who don’t agree with their gay worshiping wokeness, capitalist hate and anti-Americanism.
