The Secret Service detail protecting Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff has been spotted blocking access to handicap-designated parking outside a Whole Foods in Los Angeles.
Emhoff was running errands on Wednesday in the Westside neighborhood of Brentwood when his two-vehicle motorcade blocked the accessible parking for about 20 minutes, a witness told DailyMail.com.
As Emhoff did some shopping at Whole Foods, the two black Chevrolet Suburbans bearing Department of Homeland Security plates parked diagonally across a parking space designated for people with disabilities, photos of the incident show.
Emhoff, who shares a home with Vice President Kamala Harris in Brentwood, was escorted by two agents as he left Whole Foods with his groceries.
Harris has been outspoken in her advocacy for people with disabilities, a stance seemingly in contrast with the scene that unfolded on Wednesday. A Secret Service spokesman declined to comment on the matter when reached by DailyMail.com

Outside the Whole Foods, the second gentleman told an onlooker that he was 'doing good' as he walked to the waiting motorcade and hopped in the back of one of the waiting SUVs.
One of the Secret Service vehicles briefly activated its lights and sirens as the SUVs zipped away from the Whole Foods parking lot.

At that time the supermarket was a “Westward Ho.” By the mid 90s the Mezzaluna Restaurant was across the street, from the Market, Ron Goldman had an apartment a block away, and Nicole Brown Simpson’s condo was half a mile away on Bundy.
