Surveillance video inside a vape shop in Las Vegas shows an owner defending himself with a knife from would-be robbers.
On Aug. 3, Johnny Nguyen, 22, was captured on film stabbing one of three juveniles who tried to rob his store, the Smokestrom Smoke Shop in the neighborhood of West Sahara in Las Vegas.
According to Nguyen, two masked individuals entered his shop while another stood by the door at around 3:25 p.m.on Aug. 3.
In the video, Nguyen can be heard asking them as they approach the counter, ”Why are you guys wearing masks like that?”
After not receiving a response, Nguyen is then heard asking them “to just leave.”
When one of the robbers then grabs the tip jar and proceeds to the door, Nguyen asks them to take the money but “leave the coins.”
The thief grabs something else from the store shelf before fleeing out the door.
The other assailant is then seen jumping over the counter, prompting Nguyen to grab a sharp object and stab him several times.
“At first I thought they were normal customers and then I realized they had like ski masks on,” Nguyen told 8 News Now. “I had to assume they had a firearm so I just wanted to make sure I could protect myself.”
Nguyen explained that while he did not see any firearm, he reacted because he “couldn’t take that chance.”
The stabbed assailant can be heard screaming, “I’m dead, I’m dead,” as he collapses to the floor.

They’re all the same. They barge into a business to steal and threaten, and when the owner defends himself they scream like little girls...
If the Perp isn’t room temperature, he should be required to clean his bloody mess he made in the store and then serve time.

No reports of his death, so he’s probably hanging on.
We are allow civilization to be deconstructed, and the new rules are going to be a lot less forgiving to the asocial young males who think that they can’t be touched.
This clerk doing a Reddit Q&A bragging about the stabbing was kind of creepy though.

White criminals aren’t usually as adept at getting away as other ethnicities.
Stabbed boy probably spilled his guts....no pun intended.
Now he’s in trouble.
Talk with your lawyer, not the cops and certainly not the media.
Shame all he has is a knife. Is the constitution unconstitutionally infringed by domestic enemies of the USA who violate their oath of office in Las Vegas as well?

In a different article about this Nguyen said he is going to look into getting a firearm. I think that is still very doable in Las Vegas.

Did he drag the body to the door to avoid the bloody mess? Is there a reason he dragged it there?
I don’t really know.
Maybe to get him away from the cash register and products he was trying to steal. Maybe to block the door. Maybe he wanted his sorry ass as far away as he could get it.
Kind of hard for me to say.
Of course, so he didn't have to step around the body in the event other customers came into the store. Logical thing to do.....
