If Alex Jones who is perceived as a pro-Trump and an anti-establishment figure is penalized for spreading misinformation but the Democrats establishment loyalists who peddle insane conspiracy theories are honored with Pulitzer prizes something is gravely wrong.

Isn’t about Trump for me. It is about using lawfare against citizens who disagree with the regime narrative.
I was responding to your post attacking someone for not knowing what they are talking about when you were notorious for your smear campaign against Barnette. Not exactly like you weren’t obsessed with trying to destroy her. You posted all of this publicly, as well as the post I just responded to. So now that makes someone “a stalker.” Bizarre.
And you are posting bogus info about the topic at hand of this post as well as was just exposed above.
You wouldn’t have sued someone who did this to you?
This is essentially further defamation of these parents - to say they pursued this action because he went against the “regime narrative.” No, they filed because he defamed them. Plain and simple.
In person or on his web TV show? I haven't really followed it and never been a Jones fan. Can't stand the guy's gravelly voice for more than a minute.
A LOT of people on the left are just as bad as Jones is my only point. I think most Vietnam vets would agree.

You just proved my point.
You and Alex tagteaming to establish a prog avenue of attack.
— allies of defamers are defamers”
I can beleive anything I want.
Doesn’t make me anyonnes “ally”, or a co- defendant- defamer.
I want to know when we will sue CNN and the rest for all the HOAX stories they have published over the last 5 years about Trump?
I heard Trump is suing CNN. Let’s get busy and join him
Jones’ own words did him in.
That is why he's being targeted. Because he's been parading around with a bulls-eye on his chest.
That’s like 10% of it. If he was a Democrat none of this would be happening.
I can't figure out what that even means to respond to it.

I’ll take that to mean I was more right than my hunch told me.
IOW,,, I Nailed It. ( and you 2 )

This and the prior post are just random gibberish. I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about - cannot decipher whether it is something to agree with or disagree with.
I am pro-Trump.
Alex Jones is an unmitigated ASS and this was long over due.
Robert Barnes had a good summary of objections to the way this trial was handled on his livestream on Sunday, and it's worth spending a minute to understand a contrary narrative. To summarize, the most problematic items appear to be:
1) The judge in the case rendered a default judgement due to her belief that Alex Jones was not complying fully with discovery. That's not the usual remedy; if a court finds that a party isn't cooperating in discovery, you'll usually see some negative jury instructions for the matter in contention. Throwing AJ's entire defense out the window, and denying a jury trial entirely is extreme, and highly unusual.
2) Regarding the claim of non-cooperation, Barnes' contention is that the plaintiff was demandig Jones provide materials that simply didn't exist, so he couldn't produce them. He's short on specifics, but given that Jones did produce massive amounts of information in response to discovery, and particiapted in days of depositions it's even harder to understand how the court decided on the default judgement.
3) On the merits, most of the original claim revolved around third parties makiing the claims about "crisis actors" and, and Jones gave those people a platform, and offered some lukewarm endorsements of the idea; but that in years of coverage, Jone's discusion of Sandy Hook did NOT address those claims. He DID, correctly, point out that the immediate efforts of state and local politicians were directed at an anti-gun narrative, and ignored the indisputable fact that the local authorities had done nothing to provide physical security at the school site, including not intalling door locks that had been the subject of fund allocations in the district.
4) It's not in dispute that the narrative has, indeed, focussed on using the tragety at Sandy Hook to advance the gun-control agenda, and Alex Jones DID rail against that, and the media have been uniformly guilty of distorting the record on this point, concentrating their story around what was, at most, a minor and fleeting claim platformed by Infowars, which was never central to Jone's reporting or commentary on the matter.
5) Jones has apologized to the parents for any suffering he did cause. That's not immaterial, and in Texas law, a public apology does mitigate the liability of the alleged offender, at least per Barnes.
It does appear that this case, regardless of what one thinks of Alex Jones raises legitimate questions of fairness and impartiality of the court. If this can be done to Alex Jones, there's no one who might have the temerity to dispute the "approved narrative" who isn't at risk. The final example that Barnes left with, was of a prospective juror who asked "can we use this theory to go after election deniers?" If that doesn't give one pause, I don't know what will.
