Longtime fans of “Jeopardy!” are threatening to boycott the show since Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings are splitting hosting duties.
On Wednesday, the beloved game show announced that the two interim hosts would keep their jobs, with Jennings hosting from September to January and Bialik taking over from January through the end of the season.

He is growing into the role of host. She will forever be an actress first, she is forced at times and seems phony.
We have a lot of reruns of old game shows. I love it when they get excited over winning $200.
“She will forever be an actress first, “
It’s a shame her earned PhD in a difficult discipline is overshadowed by “forever be an actress”.
I’m lukewarm about both the hosts, but I rarely watch it anymore because of the gradual shift in topics which has dumbed it down.
I enjoy watching Jeopardy, but don’t get too concerned about who is hosting. It’s sort of like a baseball game. Announcers are sort of necessary, but barely. The important part of the show is the game.
Alex Trebek has been the only host in my time.
I’m not one of the fans whose show is over for them because the long time host has died.
I only said that those who can’t get over it should stop watching the show because, for them, there is no other host that can do the job.
Watch Jeapardy almost every night. Bialik is OK but as a dirty old guy I’d prefer the weather girl in Chicago. Better clothes and a nicer rack.
I have to say, I didn’t like her at first, but after only one show, I realized it is a billion times better with her than that insufferable Jennings. I have tried, but I just can’t watch it with him.
She has a PhD in neurophysics. Think of it as rocket science of the brain.
I’m okay with either Bialik or Jennings, but I prefer Ken. She seems like she’s trying too hard to be personable when it comes more naturally to him, and there is often a delay between an answer and her response as she checks her notes.
But what really makes me change the channel is annoying contestants like the goon who prefaces every answer with “what’s…” regardless of whether the answer is a thing or a person, or that tranny that I think was getting help to advance the woke cause.
The leftists pro-Palestinian anti-Semites attacking a brilliant white woman who has received a PhD in neuroscience. In addition she has been married and has given birth to two children. Her not aborting her children was the final straw for the left.
Art Fleming is Jeopardy.
In America, TV programs you.
Watching TV is like tossing around a loaded weapon—you don’t know when the brainwashing kicks in—they do use subliminal advertising and programming.

Start at the two minute mark...
One of the answers last week was PLANNED PARENTHOOD which I thought was in very, very poor taste.
“Did you stop watching when Art Fleming left the show?”
Everybody stopped watching after Art Fleming because the show went off the air until it was revived in the 80s.
“I think the death of a long-time host or retirement of such is good time to stop watching any show, because subsequent shows just won’t be the same.”
I have applied that concept to post-Trabek Jeopardy! and any conservative radio talk-show after Rush’s death. It’s true that nothing can be the same and even more true that little measures up to the original. Having experienced both the Fleming-hosted and Trabek-hosted shows, I can say the revived show made improvements that held and grew viewer interest.
The passing of Alex Trebek illustrates something I've said for a long time: No one is irreplaceable, at least as far as the job goes. Alexx Trebek was the host for a long time, and was very popular. When he died, a lot of people wondered how the show could continue on without him. The show is still going strong, and is just as popular as it was before. I've known people who did not want to retire because they convinced themselves that the place would not be able to function without them. There's always somebody waiting in the wings, ready to step up and do the job.
“I’ve known people who did not want to retire because they convinced themselves that the place would not be able to function without them.”
I was deeply concerned about that when I decided to retire...
for a whole nanosecond.
;-)
IMO, Ken Jennings is a pompous ass with a grating personality, just like Alex Trebec.
Mayim Bialik is smart, humble and of pleasant demeanor.
The so-called long-time fans of Alex Trebec want someone like Alex, not Mayim.
If you couldn't tell, I prefer Mayim over Ken.
