Yep, my Audi saved the lives of my wife and me one night by braking before I even saw the speeding guy about to T-bone me. Those systems typically only work up to 40 m.p.h. or so, though.

the woman pic on the side of the road was purported to be her. then people were saying it couldnt be because they had to use the jaws of life on her. But there are clearer pictures on one site that shows the lady was wearing nursing scrub pants...so probably her.

if so, it is amazing the lack of damage to her. there was some blood on her and scrapes on the arm ..but in another car she would have been dead
