I just don't think it had anything in it that could have saved anyone in that crash.
It’s unbelievable that the driver of that car survived with just minor injuries. That car looked like a cruise missile going through that intersection.
How terrible. You never know when your time will come. Make the most of it while you can.

How could someone get mad at their boyfriend and then deliberately speed down the road and crash into other cars? It’s not going to physically hurt the boyfriend. I suspect alcohol or drugs was involved.
Holy sheet, that was a murder/suicide. She intended to take others out with her.
They should throw away the key for this one. She took all those lives so she deserves none at all.

Not a Mercedes fan at all but in this case the driver of the Mercedes was the perp and she came through very much intact.
Another death trap intersection
Your green light means nothing, quickly look both ways closely before entering the intersection if possible.
And why traffic circles will eliminate these horrific cross traffic intersection collisions. I know a lot of people don’t like them, but they save lives. You don’t have to worry about some moron broadsiding you at 65 mph.
The DM especially has a habit of expanding its stories with biographical details to provide color. The DM article on Anne Heche's crash has lots of info about her childhood and past romances and marriages, though that has nothing to do with the crash.
One would think so, but this is George Gascon. I think that if he does charge her to the max it will be to try to get good press to help him avoid the recall. It will be a political decision, not a justice-centered decision.
