Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Soap opera Days of Our Lives is leaving NBC after 57 years and moving to streaming service, Peacock, starting Sept. 12.
All new episodes of the drama will premiere daily on Peacock, which is already the home for the show's past episodes, as well as the spinoff series, Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem.
A new, hour-long program called NBC News Daily is scheduled to take over Days' time slot on NBC. It will be anchored by Kate Snow, Aaron Gilchrist, Vicky Nguyen and Morgan Radford.

Turkish, huh ? I’m guessing no faggotry on soaps from there.
>> I found it to be a bit mesmerizing
These... are the days of our lives
Well the big thing is the murder of Abigail, everybody thinks its Lucas or homely Sarah.
Have no idea why Xander loves homely Sarah.
No one has ever accused NBC of being smart ...
Well you can bet that will be a real gem of objectivity, information, and fairness.
Btw, I hope NBC has made provision for the poor and minorities who can't afford the pay requirement for DOOL yet wish to continue watching.
So funny! Me too! “Like sands through the hourglass… these are the days of our lives.”
Search for Tomorrow, Love of Life, Guiding Light, The Secret Storm, As the World Turns, The Edge of Night.
The Dumb and the Useless.
“Like lipstick on a pig, so are the Woke and the Worthless...”

The NBC headhogs must think the unwashed need more indoctrination. It is hard to believe that soap opera fans will appreciate the abrupt change into “news.”
I remember as a child in the 1960s all activity came to a standstill in our house every afternoon as mom shut down to watch “Days of Our Lives”.
I wonder if Woopee has tried extorting NBC into hiring her, at a substantially higher wage, to give the show credibility?
It’s bound to be a socialist lovefest. Maybe Liz?
True about the ratings for soap replacements, but they can produce them on the cheap through their news division.
I just think the networks going all news all day is not going to bring eyeballs. We already have three major news channels available. Must we add to them? I think in the Ling run this will hurt the network more then it does already.
Yep that is when I stopped watching..show literally went down the crapper after that. I remember the good ol days, with Marlena possessed, Stefano Dimera, etc..heck even when Kristen played Susan and Thomas it was more entertaining and funny as hell than it just went down the far left looney bin and that was it
All My Children now that was a soap opera, too bad they canceled it I really enjoyed it
I was amazed when I saw an episode of Young and Restless and saw Hans Gutencast from Rat Patrol.
