She was married to her husband for more than two decades. If she wanted to leave it all to him that was up to her.
But if you have a child that has issues you can always put it in a trust with quarterly payouts assuring that they do have something to fall back on.

Perhaps Ashley can copyright her famous pink hat trump poem and make millions selling to the school districts

The mom was pretty but had a fat daughter.
Is there another daughter?
If so, and she ain’t so fat, I’m rooting for her.
Otherwise, none of my business.

I would seriously have this death investigated then, and see if it was REALLY suicide. Maybe ol’ Larry has some splainin to do
To: RummyChick
Wynonna has addiction issues; alcohol, drugs, food, spending.

She was married to her husband for more than two decades. If she wanted to leave it all to him that was up to her....True enough. But, I imagine residuals from the songs she sang with Wynonna would be separate from Mom's individual assets.
To: RummyChick
Wynonna made tens of millions of her own in the 1990s. 3 solo albums hit #1, and she had 4 #1 singles. Why the hell does she need a “piece of the pie” from her dead mom?
To: RummyChick
Of course I would leave my estate to my spouse.
How do the daughters get off thinking they should “get them some?”

None of this just has to be splashed all over the internet.
I’m guessing one of the daughters has chosen to make a public debate out of it, hoping to pressure Larry Strickland to divide up the pie.
Money problems from a newly deceased relative can bring out the worst in people. The emotion runs very high.
Everybody feels righteous and completely correct.
I say this from personal experience, after being left some money from a relative.

My old boss knew Wynona well .
We had lunch with a few times .
A very nice person .
I recall the mother was in the process of divorcing this guy
for the Fourth time before she shot herself .
It was a very strange situation .
In fact in 2000 , I was on a flight to Tampa from Nashville and
she sat across the row from me .We chatted about her daughter and my boss .
The next day she filed for a divorce in Clearwater .
I guess she did that a few times .lol .
