I note the victim and his friends were shooting those water-gel-bead-gun things at people from their car. Still a tragedy, but understandable that guys might get a little upset with someone shooting at them. Maybe that’s why no murder charge....?

There were other black kids with Lemming. They did not receive the same beat down. They beat him To a pulp. I call that a hate crime. Civil Rights crime if there ever was one. Merrick Garland should be involved but we know this behavior will be excused. We cannot expect feral humans to act civilized
From a FR thread weeks ago when this kill’n was first reported, the teen was beaten and then kicked to death. His brain stem was separated from his spine and a shoe/boot impression was inside his chest wall.
Your post sounds a little like a rehash of the “it’s her fault for dressing that way” defense...
