The Biden Administration on Wednesday announced new steps to tackle the housing supply crisis.

The plan(link is external) by the U.S. Department of the Treasury allows the use of $350 billion in American Rescue Plan funds by state, local, and tribal governments toward the development, repair, and operation of affordable housing units.

The following is a statement from National Association of Realtors® President Leslie Rouda Smith:

"The top issue around the country among our 1.5 million members is housing supply. NAR commends the White House for addressing this challenge head-on and working across agencies on a comprehensive plan to provide the necessary flexibility for state and local governments."

The plan by the U.S. Department of the Treasury allows the use of $350 billion in American Rescue Plan funds by state, local, and tribal governments toward the development, repair, and operation of affordable housing units.

The money is allocated as:

1) 1.3 billion for operation of affordable housing units

2) 3.6 billion for repair of affordable housing units

3) 1.375 billion for development of affordable housing units

4) 225 billion for repair of affordable housing units in Ukraine

5) 85 billion for development of sustainable (green) power generation for affordable housing units and

6) 35 billion for "TBG" industries ("the Big Guy" whatever that is.)

Just thought you might like to know.

“4) 225 billion for repair of affordable housing units in Ukraine”

Good God

That is an incredible number

They can buy all of Ukraine for that, no way the actual cost of repair is that high

Those are not real - I made them up. But they are similar to lots of what this administration does. Fund a need for $10 and pack $90 worth of additional ‘green’ spending and social program crap into the bill.

Just another kickback scheme. Those that help obiden get rewarded with contracts. 10% back to the big guy of course.
