But the Federal government offers benefits to spouses of employees, offers tax breaks for married couple, etc, etc, so it has to have a standard for what it considers marriage.
“The Respect for Marriage Act” would codify at the federal level same-sex marriage and interracial marriage”
Ah, they snuck in interracial marriage too, so if you don’t vote for it not only are you a homephobe but a racist as well.
You have to hand it to the Rats, they’re good at this type of stuff.
“He’s going to win because Oz is a terrible candidate.”
So, who are you going to vote for?
No, just guts.
CELEBRATE
PERVERSITY
Honestly, if I still lived in PA, I’d be looking for a 3rd party candidate to vote for. This guy is an absolute train wreck.
The question is: why did Trump back him, if he knew this? Oz-Ball is carrying a lot of liberal baggage, I’d bet.
If OZ isa Terrible candidate, what is Fetterman? Jusst what are the reasons someone should vote for Fetterman? Is it because he looks like a hippie? Is it because he is a far left Progressive/ Is it because he is absent from the campaign? Other than the so-called bad qualities in OZ, what are the positive qualities in Fetterman that would give someone the reason to vote for him?
Bye bye "married filing jointly".
Why should I give a shit about Fetterman?
What are the reasons for you asking me?
I don’t know why anyone votes for Democrats.
People want free shit. Oz will lose.
Write in Barnette.
Thinking of writing in Bennet. If Masiano gets in and Fetterman kicks it, he can appoint a conservative. Hopefully.
When are Conservative Voters going to realize that if they don’t like the Republican Candidate a non-vote or a vote for an Independent is the same as adding another vote to the total of the Democrat Candidate. Now, what would you rather have for the next SIX (6) YEARS? An OZ that you may not like who will vote Conservative most of the time or a Fetterman who will vote with the Liberals. Democrats ALL of the time. Think about it!
I did see anything in that post#6 that says that person WANTS Fetterman to win.
Just that Trump made a bad call, which he HAS done in the past , do you need a list ?
Fetterman is an absolute abomination to PA, and Oz is not much better!
Hope Oz wins, but he was/is a terrible pick by Trump
Pa again shoots itself in the foot by lame PA GOP with no real good candidate!
You can tell it’s election time these politicians would sell out their Mother for a vote. What ever it takes to win. Then again that is the point.
Hoping this is the case too, but where is Mastriano??
Elections are won & lost NOW, and this guy seems like he is in hiding!!!
He better get the f out there and start hammering this douche commie Shapiro, or PA is screwed for another 4 to 8 yrs!
These idiot Pa reublicans ALWAYS let themselves be defined because they’re always SLOW outta the gate!
They’re pathetic campaigners!
Constitution-impaired Oz doesn't seem to understand that Constitution's silence on marriage means that defining marriage is off-limits to the feds.
"10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.
In fact, the only sex-related laws that the states have expressly constitutionally given Congress the specific power to make are limited to voting rights issues, evidenced by 19th Amendment.
"19th Amendment:The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.
Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation."
Corrections, insights welcome.
Also, Trump's red tsunami of patriot supporters are reminded that they must vote twice this election year. Your first vote is to primary career RINO incumbents in federal and state governments. Your second vote is to replace outgoing Democrats and RINOs with Trump-endorsed patriot candidates.
Again, insights welcome.
Good point. Hope he has a plan.
