I agree with your assessment. Perhaps taking the leftist stance on this bill will actually do Oz more harm than good. I think Oz is doing this because that is what he really believes.

The difference is that President Trump put judges on the courts that are on the move to not only having thrown out Roe, but Obergefell as well. Oz is confirming that in his capacity as a legislator, he would not vote against an abominable bill were he in the Senate.
Don’t believe what you read. the trump endorsement is still there. easy to fact check the liars. I’ll have to wait for a reliable source to form an opinion of oz position on guy/guy marriage. but i think he is a nut case.

The last time PA nominated a true Conservative was 2006.
Rick Santorum lost the general election 59%-41%.
I supported Santorum in 2016 when he sought the GOP presidential nomination. He got wiped out in Iowa and withdrew a week a two later.
I supported Trump after Santorum quit.

Hell no...... I’m not voting for Fetterman. He’s a Marxist of the first order - he makes Elizabeth Warren look like a moderate. Also, a vote for Fetterman would be a vote for Chuck Shumer. No way would I help Shumer. I’m not sure I believe Oz is a conservative, but I will definitely be voting for him.
