I am a biologist with a PhD who as a graduate student assistant taught labs in developmental biology. Some of me fellow conservative may not like what I'm going to say.
Most women have XX chromosomes in their somatic cells. Most men have XY. There are so-called "super males" with two Y chromosomes and an X. There are women with three X chromosomes. They tend to have long legs and are usually quite attractive. Then there are the teratological "monsters" (old term) that include the hermaphrodites with both sexual organs (arising from developmental or double fertilization) and the chimera who have cells from different sperm in different parts of their body. The monsters are relatively few in number and deserve our sympathy.
