Florida rapper Rollie Bands took great exception to people criticizing his beats. In fact, he took to Instagram on Friday, inviting the naysayers to confront him at his Tampa Bay-area apartment complex.
Minutes after posting his challenge on the social media site, he was shot dead.
According to HipHopDX, Bands wrote on his Instagram story: “A lot of these n*****s know where I live at fr. I sleep in peace. If a n***a want smoke I’m at my crib in 5 minutes.”
And five minutes after the posting, Bands was shot once in the parking lot of his apartment building. He died not long after being rushed to a trauma centre.
The suspects — who detectives believe knew and specifically targeted the rapper — fled the scene in a vehicle. There were no suspect descriptions available.
“At this time, the shooting does not appear random, as the suspects and victim are possibly known to each other,” the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said in the report.
It’s believed the rapper is survived by a daughter, whom he described as “the only person I live for.”
Am I bad for finding this funny?
Eell, of course. C’mon man, he got exactly what he aksed for…
His wishes came true. Lucky fellow.
He’s just resting
Beautiful plumage, the Norweigan Blue
Damn, that was poetic dude.
I read all the replies to this thread. I’m surprised no one remembered Anne Barnhart.
She used to mouth off like this. Even publicly listing her home address. Daring people to come and get her.
Died doing what he loved.
I don’t believe there is such a thing as “Karma”. It’s just the name Hindus gave to occurrences which they think are somehow preordained as a form of social justice having been exacted, even though those things really only come about as pure happenstance.
IOW, if Hillary Clinton happened to walk into an open manhole in New York City or Washington D.C., it wouldn’t be “Karma”, it would be just dumb luck, however unfortunate for her but hilarious for the American people to contemplate!
