A business owner expressed his frustration over the repeated graffiti vandalism of his San Francisco restaurant after receiving a violation notice from the city to clean up or be fined.
Viet Nguyen, owner of the soon-to-open Gao Viet Kitchen in the Inner Sunset, told NBC Bay Area that he is tired of his restaurant being targeted by vandals and repeatedly having to paint over the graffiti.
The latest tagging of his restaurant also came with a violation notice from the San Francisco Department of Public Works last week. The notice instructed Nguyen to clean up the graffiti in 30 days or face a $362 fine.
“The graffiti, it costs me a lot of money because every tag, I’ve got to go paint that thing. I don’t actually expect it to stop, but the most frustrating thing is, I keep on getting tagged by the city, but what can I do?” Nguyen told ABC7 News. “I clean it up, I board it up, or whatever I need to do and it comes back.”

This type of decision making by the city of San Francisco is the reason the city has become a S-hole. Note: the “S” is not a 5—it is a “S” as in shit!

There was a business in Phoenix that had trouble with graffiti vandals, and they came up with a novel solution.
They put motion sensing cameras high up on the wall most often painted, but in the wall itself at intervals, at about 3.5 feet off the ground, they had high pressure spray paint heads.
When a vandal was detected, a night watch employee inside would turn the appropriate valve, and out the nozzle would come about a 3 foot cone of either bright green or orange neon glow in the dark paint.
They recorded their best “video hits” and showed them off at the annual Christmas party.
Bureaucrats that think every business owner is guilty and someone to be fined.
Who wants to bet this useful idiot votes only for democrats if he votes at all.
The city should pay for the cleanup or deduct the cost from his property taxes.
He better be careful some tags are gang turf signs and sometimes gangs get testy when you paint over their territorial signatures. Rock meet hard place. Gov Sucks.
