Dang first Ray Liotta now Sorvino.
Anybody check up on Joe Pesci lately?
DANG! THEY ARE DROPPING LIKE FLIES!....................
Dang!
Really like him. Have no idea as to his politics. Leftist I’m guessing. But liked his acting. Plus based on a couple of interviews I like him personally.
The reaper seems to be going after mob actors lately - Ray Liotta, James Caan, Tony Sirico, now Paul Sorvino
“...and dat’s dat...”
NOOOOOO! RIP sir
i loved when he bawled like a baby when his daughter won the Oscar.
Seemed like a good one.
He initially had serious doubts about playing a gangster because he’d always portrayed basically good-natured characters, and didn’t know how to play a convincing bad guy. He surprised himself, though.
“Pauli might have moved slow but that’s only because Pauli didn’t have to move for anyone “ - RIP Paul.
He was in the Rocketeer as a mob boss fighting against the Nazis.
I remember him playing the reverend in “Oh God”. Off the top of my head, Teri Garr (John Denver’s character’s wife) and William Daniels (the Food World grocery store manager where John Denver’s character worked) seem to be the only main cast members of that movie still with us, as John Denver, George Burns, Dinah Shore, Donald Pleasance, Barry Sullivan, and now Sorvino have since passed on.
Dang, good actor who made that Paulie role in Goodfellas so memorable. The prison dinner scene is epic.
Rest in peace.
He also played one of the Maralto brothers in The Firm.
Excellent performance.
Too young to go...
RIP...
No! The season he was on Law And Order was the best.
4s
The new normal
I remember reading Paul Sorvino having extreme words regarding Weinstein who blacklisted his daughter for not putting out..
RIP
He also played Bruce Willis’ father in a couple of “Moonlighting” episodes in the ‘80s.
