So far, no space exploring nations have claimed responsibility for the rocket.

NASA has discovered the crash site of a "mystery rocket body" that collided with the Moon's surface earlier this year. The impact left behind a widespread "double crater," meaning it wasn't the average rocket.

However, since its crash landing, none of Earth's space-exploring nations have claimed responsibility for the mysterious projectile, leaving NASA scientists baffled as to who was behind its launch. New images shared on June 24 by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter show the unusual impact site.

Joking aside, if this is really a rocket body impact, there is literally no way we didn't fully record the launch, the trajectory, and travel

I agree, unless the rocket- if there was one- perhaps didn't launch prior to May 1963.

But the moon has no atmosphere enough to cause orbital decay. So it has to be aliens!!!!

Lunar gravity would cause orbital decay over time by affecting the inertia of the object.

You’re correct- it was whatever they left behind before departing the moon to head back to earth. Was that the LEM?

Anyways, I have read that the one from Apollo 11 is still in orbit.

The next ones they crashed ito the surface to record their impacts in the instruments they left on the moon (to detect moonquakes).

I also read that the moon ‘rang’ for 3 hours afterwards, suggesting it is hollow.

So it is probably filled with aliens who watch us through little peep holes.
