These women just marched right into the land of make believe.
The Women’s March Twitter page literally just tweeted that “abortion is safer than giving birth.” And no, they weren’t being sarcastic:
This is the furthest thing from true that I’ve read in a while.
During an abortion at least one person dies. That is NOT safe whatsoever.
Abortion results in 100 percent infant mortality and many women are also harmed during an abortion as well. According to the CDC, 5.4 infants die per 1,000 live births. While 5.4 is still 5.4 too many, based on the stats, it is a lot better than abortion which kills every single infant. Not to mention that 5.4 number is accidental death but abortion is intentional murder of the unborn. So you tell me which one is "safer."
Ingrid Skop, a 28-year practicing OB-GYN debunked this false claim back in 2019, Life News reported:
Abortion advocates would have you believe that childbirth is extremely dangerous. Yet, the U.S. maternal mortality rate is only 18 per 100,000 live births. Yes, I wish it were zero—the death of even one mother is an unspeakable tragedy. But the risk of dying in childbirth is only slightly higher than the risk of dying in a motor vehicle accident (10.3/100,000 in a given year).
Skop also pointed out that deaths from abortions are not properly reported. In Europe for example, "94% of abortion-related deaths are not identified on death certificates. Thus, the abortion-related deaths documented by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention represent only the tip of the iceberg."
This isn't surprising. Why would we have access to information that doesn't push the leftist agenda that abortion is somehow safe?
It’s ironic that Women’s March is literally feeding into a mindset that pregnancy is oppression, when the group claims to build “power” for women.
The Women’s March and left at large just want to garner as much support for infanticide as they can. Rather than teaching how empowering and bad ass it is to literally birth a child, the leftist media prefers to tell people that they can’t follow their dreams, they can’t live their lives, they can’t be successful without abortion. How many times do we have to say that these are lies!?
The fact of the matter is, abortion ends life. Nothing that intentionally ends a life is safe. Ever.
Get it through your head.
Women’s March needs to get it’s facts straight. Just sayin.

That can’t be true. Way more babies die from abortions than from live births. Way more.
