(CNN) - Paying for some Bruce Springsteen tickets these days may be “Tougher Than The Rest.”
That’s because Ticketmaster’s “dynamic pricing” has some seats reaching $4000 to $5000 a seat.
The high prices are not going over well.
“I’m sure you won’t see this @springsteen but you or your management need to have a word with the abhorrent criminals running @Ticketmaster who are charging exorbitant amounts to see you in concert,” one person tweeted. “Please listen to your fans, nobody can afford these ridiculous ticket prices.”
Writer John Semley tweeted that Springsteen should “write a song about a working man refinancing his car and home to purchase bruce springsteen tickets.”
“i got a sixty-nine chevy /with a three-ninety-six fuelie heads /and a hurst on the floor/i had to sell it to go see the Boss at the Wells-Fargo Center,” he suggested as lyrics.
Stevie Van Zandt, “The Sopranos” star and a member of Springsteen’s E Street Band, responded to the uproar by tweeting in part “I have nothing whatsoever to do with the price of tickets.”
**SNIP**
Prices started around $60 for some of the seats furthest from the stage.

You couldn’t pay me $ 5000 to listen to him for 5 minutes !
Gee, kind of like Streisand as she apparently charges astronomical prices for her concerts.
You can thank the Eagles and Streisand for the greedy concert ticket prices.
If Liberals are that stupid...let it be.
I love seeing them being made the fools that they are.
Yeh, may I suggest that you not pay him? Maybe the old fool will just go away.
Listen for free you YouTube. Check a CD out of the library.
True Fact: Noone EVER called Springsteen “The Boss”.
“The Boss” was a marketing invention created by his record label to sell records.
yes, they like to pretend they don’t get the tix prices but they damn well know it as they get a cut -they are not doing this for charity
I wouldn’t pay $4 or $5 to see that POS.
I really miss Clarence Clemons, though.
My God, could he ever play.
For $5000, I could move into Alice Cooper’s garage.
;D
Never liked him...never will....
Like I’ve said a million times, hypocrisy is the religion of the left. Springsteen, his pal B. Husssein will all push Marxism yet are the biggest capitalist pigs going.
Reminds me of NYU and Columbia university in New York city which honors Marxist displays, anti-capitalism protests, bans speakers who are pro capitalism yet they price gouge the living F out of tuition and make billions in real estate driving mom and pop stores out of business.
Greenwich village now thanks to NYU is unrecognizable. Where there use to be cafes, coffee shops, Italian restaurants are now all high end fashion stores.
One eye opener was the traditional San Gennaro festival held in Little Italy every year which was almost cancelled because the fashion stores complained the smoke from the food being cooked was harming the clothes. I don’t know why they still have that festival there because little Italy in NYC doesn’t exist anymore.
The first five albums, I loved.
Then he lost his mind and became a hypocritical liberal and I haven’t bought anything since.
I think I paid $27 to see him back in 1978.
Or maybe $17.
:)
10 million bucks to buy an already Olympic-winning horse for his daughter.
Haven’t heard anything about her in years so I’m guessing the horse’s talent didn’t transfer.
Or McCartney, a fortune for his tickets as well and for what? To hear him barely croak out overplayed songs that are 60 years old? When is the last time that guy wrote a good song? 50 years ago? He’s a billionaire and the lowest price he is charging is $400 bucks per ticket. Get lost! “Oooh I gotta hear Hey Jude for the 20 billion millionth time” It’s pathetic
Yeah but her voice is like buttah.
Springsteen is the poster child for the limousine libturd set...
In the basement of the building across the street.....
