IIRC, Root has been a student of Trump’s life, and an admirer, for many decades. He said he gained his own wealth by studying how Trump made deals and ran his businesses. Maybe back to the ‘70s.

An interesting 48 minute video.
That debate was more cordial than I expected.
John Fund was great as the moderator. He has a great voice, too.
Root clearly made the better case.
Saul supported his position with cliché monkey arguments - Paraphrasing his points: "Trump is toxic. Nobody likes Trump. Trump was impeached twice. Trump remains under multiple investigations. Everybody cheats. Blah. Blah. Blah."
