The GOP’s newest legislator, Rep. Mayra Flores (R-TX), is defending her Thursday vote to help get green cards to the adult children of the Fortune 500’s foreign contract workers and managers, who take jobs and career opportunities from Americans.
“Amnesty was not passed last week!” Flores said in a July 17 tweet. “An amendment in the NDAA bill gave legally documented children of LEGAL VISA workers the ability to remain in the United States with their parents. Stop the misinformation and stay focused on taking back the house this November!!”

In other words.....the adult children come here and either give birth to a US citizen or are the father of the newly minted US citizen and the whole family gets to stay FOREVER....AMNESTY!!!!! No matter how you slice it. AMNESTY!!!
And another one that pulled the wool over everyone's eyes.
For years, the Democrats have been doing it all wrong for decades. Run as Conservatives, then stab everyone in the back. Even if they don't get re-elected, do this enough times, get the numbers you need and then everyone switch parties. By then, there's nothing anyone can do.
I read it as the child of the legal contract worker has been living here with his/her parents, then turns 18 and needs a work visa in order to stay here with his/her parents.
They come to America, but they always retain loyalty to their fellow “people” from their old countries. America has gained absolutely nothing except further destruction form diversity.
Oy ! Sorry, but I’m very suspicious of the Latino move to the GOP.
I read it as, they get someone pregnant, have a baby on US soil and then never have to leave. And then, under family reunification, which President Trump eliminated, they all stay here forever.
Perfectly legal way around any and all processes.
But to your point about staying here after they turn 18, how is anyone going to know? They don’t use the Entry/Exit Visa program even though it’s been authorized. I’d be surprised to learn of anyone being deported from the US solely for overstaying a visa, especially when their parents are legally working in the US.
Not a problem. The following will force illegal aliens out of the country because they can’t work if ALL of the following is instituted -
The Deplorables want a Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement bill, missing since 1986 ONE TIME amnesty. Since that amnesty was granted already, a second amnesty is off the table. What remains is the enforcement the Democrats have disallowed since then.
The List of Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement, missing since 1986 goes like this -
1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 40-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population);
7) Set up an illegal aliens’ victim restitution fund from tax on remittances.
To address the muslims, just tell them they won’t be able to have their mosques available to them in the US.
They’re here illegally. Anything short of deportation is some form of amnesty.
The muslims come here under family reunification and phony asylum claims.
Your #3 takes care of the family reunification/chain migration, which President Trump had dealt with.
Asylum claims....hearings done via video conference, from their home country and they meet a very, very, very specific criteria. IE...what actions of the US have caused you to seek asylum? None...have a nice day.
But, again, something that President Trump had figured out how to deal with....reduce the numbers that were even allowed to apply. Strict judges that denied most. Remain In Mexico until your hearing. And, if they need asylum or refugee status, work with neighboring countries in their parts of the world, have them stay there until things get sorted out.
But, no more mean tweets and he’s gone.
You are correct. Limiting the number of foriegn workers allowed into America is a completely different issue. You can be for this humanitarian ammendment and still be against increasing the use of foreign workers. We need to stop the leftists knee jerk outrage and start thinking these things through.
“needs a work visa in order to stay here with his/her parents”
Let them go back to their home country and apply for one through the normal process then. Just because your parents have work visas doesn’t mean you are entitled to one.
Surprise! Another “conservative” minority who acts against the party. She and Steele should do a cabaret show.
Compromises must be made thanks to disastrous and pwermanent demographic changes from the 1965 Immigration Act, 1986 amnesty, Obama's DACA, GOP/Chamber collusion of the above, and Biden's invitation of 3 million illegals across the border. There is no putting that toothpaste back in the tube. We either partner with Hispanics, or we get Communism and TransFascism. I hate what I just wrote but there it is.
Cheer Flores all you want but at the end of the day she and her whole family should have been deported back to Mexico. Is it too late to do so now?
Seems like all Hispanic pols are pro immigration/amnesty.
Oy ! Sorry, but I’m very suspicious of the Latino move to the GOP..............
The modern reconquistea re old LaRaza and similar types.They belive we stole Mexico when all documentary evidence proves we did not! The south west plus more states must be returned to Mexico. They are infiltrating.
Ya’ll been played, this woman is a fraud.
Civnat cucks get the football yanked away by Lucy...again.
Amnesty is amnesty and it is death to the rule of law and America.
"An amendment in the NDAA bill gave legally documented children of LEGAL VISA workers the ability to remain in the United States with their parents."
“Legally documented children” are no longer “legally documented children” when they turn 18, so yes, they would have been here illegally, if they were not granted some form of amnesty.
