“Live PD,” which was canceled in 2020, returns July 22 on Reelz as “On Patrol: Live” — with Dan Abrams once again anchoring the real-time series that follows police officers on patrol across America.
“This show has become a part of my DNA, and I certainly want a partner who feels the same way,” Abrams, 56, told The Post. “Reelz is really excited about this series; they’re committing a lot of their entire network to the series and are going to put their marketing behind it.”
“Live PD,” which premiered in 2016, was axed by A&E and producer Big Fish Entertainment in June 2020 in the wake of George Floyd’s death, which spurred national outrage over police brutality. At the time, it was A&E’s top-rated series and had just received an additional 160-episode order.

Canceled at the request of the Left and will only return with more Leftist bias. Expect to see a disproportionate number of interactions with Caucasian criminals while interactions with non-Caucasians don’t make it past the editors.
Live PD gave an insight as to what police officers go through. It did a great job to humanize them and show their struggles in dealing with people.
There was some really fantastic officers showcased n Live PD, I looked forward to watching them interact with the people they encountered.
I despise the people who worked to get that show shut down. It was a blessing to the whole country as you got to see the officers act with authority yet often times respond as any father, mother, brother, sister, friend or mentor would.
The Woke crowd couldn’t stand the humanization of the police officers and that’s exactly why it was cancelled.

I went to Reelz and in small letters it says “On Patrol” is not on Reelz. It is on Reelz Now.

This reminds me of when A&E canceled Duck Dynasty. Because Phil had made a speech accurately and correctly pointing out the physical dangers of queer sex.
They canceled it in spite of the fact it was their number one top rated show. The public backlash was so severe that they immediately began reinstating episodes of Duck Dynasty.
