Nope, Lafayette Indiana. Article is wrong. Later in a photo credit they did get it right.
Last week or so we have had 2 massive heroes here in Indiana. One saved 5 kids and one shot dead a want to be mass murderer.
Both seem like unassuming young men with their heads on straight.
What looked like knocking down.......was him clearing a path!!!
As they leader...
So well said.
Thank you.
Yes, so grateful.
We need them.
It’s twice that now. I figure the hospital and life flight helicopter will eat up a good chunk of that.
Are the kids black? And all the guy saw was fire. He didn’t know if the kids were black or white.
Eric the Clown never heard of Bozo, though
Elisjsha Dicken, a young man who thankfully had a firearm with him, stopped a terrorist attempting mass murder in less than one minute. According to news media reports he fired ten shots at the terrorist, starting at 40 yards, closing as he fired, and eight of his ten shots hit the terrorist.
That's a great example of the skill of ordinary people. Unlike the 366 "trained" federal, state, and local law enforcement offices in Uvalde who failed to even confront a murderous terrorist for 70 minutes, Mr. Dicken using what his grandfather taught him ended the terrorist's attack in 15 seconds.
Uvalde is a disgrace. There is something very wrong about that tragedy that we don’t fully know about. It seems more comes out every day.
“You’re hung up on some clown from the ‘60s, man!”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😜😜😜
Turned out the kids were white. But, as you noted, all he saw was a house on fire. He called 911. Then he went in. Perhaps he realized the firemen wouldn’t get there in time. He was right.
Based on his description of the interior, the house was filled with smoke (damaged his lungs). So he would not be able to tell what race they were until he had them in hand. At that point, it didn’t matter what race they were. He had already committed to saving them the moment he stopped. That’s why he was and is a hero in the best, most selfless sense of the word.
The rub for me was the wokester comment below the article trying to imply he would not exert himself as much (or perhaps at all) if they had been black. As I wrote, my level of revulsion at the mentality that must see every issue through its agenda-driven lens is somewhere contempt and pity.
