MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Milwaukee moved another step closer to hosting the 2024 Republican National Convention on Friday when a site selection committee unanimously recommended the event be held there rather than Nashville, Tennessee.
The Republican National Committee would still need to approve the location at its meeting Aug. 2-5 in Chicago. Nashville could still be the winner, but that city’s chances hit a roadblock earlier this month when opposition led proponents to withdraw a proposed agreement about how to host the event.

If there are 40k+ visitors for a convention the leftist hellholes are the only places available.
My choice would be Catalina Island. The big Casino building. Park a bunch of cruise ships in Avalon and use them for hotels. Reserve all existing hotel rooms. Let them riot to their hearts content in LA. Let Newsom pay for it.

Why not mid-size cities like Colorado Springs or Jacksonville Florida or Nashville Tennessee or Oklahoma City? There are plenty of mid-size MAGA towns that can host a huge venue in a college arena?
Milwaukee has been a Democrat stronghold for something like 110 years. Any GOP convention there is ill-thought-out as it will be inundated by violent radical democrats that abound in WI.
All Convention goers and delegates will need to be heavily armed. And ready to shoot without stopping to ask questions, or be shot first.

Cruise ships do stop in Catalina on a regular basis though. I’ve seen as many as three at one time. SwAmps Avalon for about three hours.
Cut & Shoot Texas is an option and all they need is some large tents!
